We are pleased to present this 2004 Porsche 996 Turbo Cabriolet finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a black full leather interior. Making its debut for the 2004 model year, the 996 Turbo Cabriolet offers an open-air driving experience coupled with the blistering power of a legendary twin turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine. This desirable 6-speed example has been equipped with a Speedtech exhaust system, ECU tune, modified K16 turbos and other performance upgrades resulting in an impressive claimed output of 585 HP. Outfitted with new brakes and tires as well as front end paint protection film, this Turbo Cabriolet represents an incredible opportunity with approximately 61k miles showing on the odometer.
The Arctic Silver Metallic finish is noted to be in excellent shape with paint protection film applied over the front bumper as well as partial hood and fenders. The windshield was replaced and the hood was professionally refinished along with the passenger front fender following a cosmetic incident under previous ownership. A small blemish has also been noted in the PPF on the front bumper, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. Exterior modifications include clear side marker lenses, a rear model designation delete and aftermarket 19” Champion wheels which come dressed in new Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The seller indicates that an additional set of OEM 18” Turbo Twist wheels and tires will also be included in-sale.
Inside, you will find a handsome black full leather interior featuring heated Sport Seats with Porsche crested headrests. Other options specified on the original $134,285 build sheet include a remote 6-disc CD changer and the aluminum-look interior package. The cabin is stated to be in very nice condition with all gauges and accessories remaining fully functional.
This 996 carries 3.6 L twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine which is sought after for is race-derived platform and resistance to IMS bearing related issues. With 415 HP stock, all four wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission making for a 0-60 time of approximately 4.2 seconds. The following upgrades have been installed resulting in improved overall performance and a claimed output of 585 HP.

@991gt3 They were done by me. Just for reference I have been in the automotive industry for 20 years. All of my own vehicles I work on, sometimes let my guys help. They love to help but I am a perfectionist so I get a little weird about other people doing work. So short answer. All done myself. But I am a professional.

I placed a bid on this car and in the process of looking for comps I discovered what appears to be a similar ad for this car running concurrently on ebay and ending around the same time. I thought that sellers sign exclusive listing agreements with PCar. Please clarify my findings and let us know if this auction is indeed a valid sale for this car.
