This 2004 Porsche 996 Turbo Cabriolet is finished in Seal Grey Metallic over a Black leather interior and features a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its twin-turbocharged Mezger engine. It comes factory-equipped with optional carbon fiber and aluminum trim pieces and has been modified with a Bilstein PSS10 coilover suspension, a GIAC Stage 1 tune, and 19” Avant Garde wheels. Originally sold in Virginia, this 996 moved to Colorado in 2007 and eventually California in 2017 where it remained until 2023. This Turbo Cabriolet is now being offered for auction out of Kansas with under 48k miles on the odometer.
The 996 Turbo features wider bodywork than a contemporary Carrera along with side air intakes, rocker panel flares, unique bumpers, and a speed-activated rear wing. This example is finished in Seal Grey Metallic with a black convertible top and aftermarket 19” Avant Garde Ruger Mesh wheels. Other equipment includes a front chin spoiler, bi-xenon headlamps, red brake calipers, quad exhaust tips, clear side marker lenses, and tinted windows. The Black full leather interior includes optional aluminum and carbon fiber trim for the shifter and brake handles, a rear center console in carbon fiber, and a leather three-spoke steering wheel with carbon fiber trim. Other accessories include optional supple leather seats, stainless-steel door entry guards, aluminum-look instrument dials, front seat heating, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and an infotainment system with navigation.
Derived from the GT1 Le Mans car, this 996 Turbo is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine that produces up to 415 HP and 415 lb.-ft of torque stock. A 6-speed manual transmission sends power to all four wheels and stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston brakes and cross-drilled 330mm discs at each corner. The car has been upgraded with a GIAC Stage 1 tune and BMC air filter, and the suspension has been modified with adjustable Bilstein PSS10 coilovers. A major service took place in 2022 at 42k miles include a new clutch, flywheel, rear main seal, air filters, and a hydraulic system flush.

@Autotrend I thought I mentioned the wing is upgraded IMO with an adjustable height fixed in the up position wing kit. I personally like it higher than factory “for looks” The car will come with the removed factory part so you can return it to that design if you wish
can you confirm the function of the rear wing. does it work up and down as porsche designed it , or not
