Up for auction is this 2005 Acura NA2 NSX-T. Introduced in 1990, the NSX was the first mass-production sports car to feature an aluminum semi-monocoque structure and was designed with the help of racing legends Aryton Senna and Bobby Rahal.  This final-year example is one of only 43 North American versions to have come finished in Berlina Black over a black leather interior and was acquired from its original owner in 2019. This NSX-T has enjoyed a lifetime of dealership maintenance and features a new upgraded sound system with an Alpine flip-out head unit and a rearview camera.  Now showing approximately 41k miles on the odometer, this 2005 NSX-T is being offered for auction by its seller out of Washington.

This NSX-T was ordered in Berlina Black (NH-547) with a matching removal aluminum roof panel, an integrated rear spoiler, gold brake calipers with NSX markings, and factory 17” forged wheels mounted with a set of new Yokohama tires. The second-generation NA2 version of the NSX was updated with fixed projector headlamps, new taillights, a redesigned spoiler, and lower rear valence paired with a set of revised side skirts. As noted on CARFAX, the seller reports minor damage to the right-front fender in 2007 which has since been repaired.  Additional images are provided in the gallery along with the full CARFAX report.

The interior features black leather throughout the dashboard, seating surfaces, and door panels. Equipment includes power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. The driver is also supplied with automatic climate control, a remote keyless entry system, and an upgraded Alpine flip-out head unit with a rearview camera. The seller reports the window tint film has begun to fade and is due for removal or replacement.

The mid-mounted 3.2L V6 engine features VTEC variable valve timing and an output of up to 290 HP and 224 lb-ft of torque.  The rear wheels are driven through a close-ratio 6-speed manual transaxle equipped with a torque-reactive limited-slip differential. The NSX can reach 60 MPH from a standstill in under 6 seconds, with a claimed top speed of 168 MPH. Factory erformance features include aluminum suspension arms and a four-channel ABS system with vented discs at all four corners. The CARFAX report shows a consistent history of maintenance at Acura dealerships in California and Washington state.  Since acquiring the car in 2019, the seller has added approximately 1k miles and had service completed by Bellevue Acura totaling over $3k.

This sale will include a clean title. Whether you're in search of a thrilling weekend driver or your next automotive investment, this well-maintained final-year Acura NSX-T is not to be missed.

There are actually two accidents in the autocheck history. Do you know the history on both? Thanks

  • Mgriffith6265 (seller) 2 years, 1 monthago

@Buivince no liens, title is clear.

  • Mgriffith6265 (seller) 2 years, 1 monthago

@gfunklegend just that one accident that she described in 2007

  • LloydChristmas (registered bidder) 2 years, 1 monthago

@List-Renn FYI, from 1994 on the roof matched the rest of the body. First 3 years were coupe only (no targa) and had a black roof. From that point on the black roof was no longer.

  • Buivince (registered bidder) 2 years, 1 monthago

How much is the lien on the vehicle? This may be a stupid question, but am I responsible for the lien if I'm the winning bidder?

  • gfunklegend 2 years, 1 monthago

Was there 2 accidents or 1? 2007 v 2009? I remember this car when it was for sale by owner in 2018 in Pasadena, CA. She told me this "The one minor accident in 2007 caused some damage to the passenger door which was fixed straight away. " So was the right fender and passenger door damaged?

  • Risk3233 2 years, 1 monthago

    What a great looking car.

  • List-Renn (registered bidder) 2 years, 1 monthago

    All true.
Google the reviews of this version.
All the car mags gushed over it.
    Every one.

By 2005, the advantages over its rivals had narrowed- but they only made like 8400 of them over 14 years.

@List-Renn good to hear from someone that understands the uniqness of these cars. They simply are not making them like this anymore...fast light and fun. The V-tec engine is special, it kicks in like a turbo at around 4200 rpm and is butter smooth. Thanks for the comments.

  • List-Renn (registered bidder) 2 years, 1 monthago

This is the best color for this car.
The roof panel only matches black, visually integrating it into the body.

The design was inspired by the F-16 Falcon fighter, and it surely looks the part- menacing, sleek and elegant.

Aluminum body panels, which means any sheet metal damage requires replacement. This generation weighed about 3100 lbs- the new version is 3800+ lbs.

I coveted these when they were new, and have never, ever, walked by one without stopping to stare.

    GLWA!

@RadRacer unfortunately no. Previous seller described as minor and repair was done well.

  • Mgriffith6265 (seller) 2 years, 1 monthago

This car is a dream to drive, quiet smooth and incredible high end when the V-tec motor kicks in. Good luck to all…
