This 2005 Ferrari F430 Berlinetta is powered by a 4.3-liter flat-plane V8 and equips a factory 6-speed gated manual transmission. Finished in a traditional combination of Rosso Corsa over a tan leather interior, this example was generously appointed with power Daytona seats and red piping, additional leather upholstery, carbon fiber trim throughout the interior and engine compartment, Scuderia shields, red brake calipers, and more. Originally sold in Hawaii before spending time in California, this highly collectible 6-speed F430 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Colorado with just over 13k miles on the odometer.
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rossa Corsa and features xenon headlights, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, side air intakes, a clear polycarbonate engine cover, and quad exhaust tips. Red-finished brake calipers with Ferrari logos are fitted behind a set of 19” wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The tan leather interior features power-adjustable Daytona-style bucket seats with red piping. The three-spoke leather-wrapped carbon fiber steering wheel features a red engine start button and LED shift indicator lights along the top. It is fitted ahead of a red-faced 10k-RPM tachometer and 220-MPH speedometer, as well as gauges for coolant and oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. Additional equipment includes a leather upholstered headliner and rear bulkhead, the HiFi Sound System, carbon fiber along the driver and lower cabin zones, and carbon fiber dashboard inserts.
Housed within the optional carbon fiber-lined compartment lies a mid-mounted 4.3-liter V8 which features Bosch Motronic engine management and a dry-sump lubrication system. The engine is factory rated at 483 HP and 343 lb.-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed gated manual gearbox and an E-Diff active limited-slip differential. This allows the F430 to reach 0-60 MPH in just 3.6 seconds and a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. The Manettino switch mounted on the steering wheel allows drivers to change the suspension settings, throttle response, traction control, and differential settings while underway. The CARFAX report shows a history of maintenance including recommended service at Ferrari of Denver in 2021 and the most recent service by Denver Exotics in August 2022. The seller adds that this F430 was factory-equipped with a manual transmission and has not been converted.
This sale will include all original owner’s manuals, a printed build sheet, two keys, a warranty booklet, a radio code, a toolkit, a tire inflator, and a clean title.

The federally-required standard warranty disclaimer as on all used cars, an odometer reading disclosure form (actual miles) and a Colorado dealer purchase acknowledgement that is required on all retail sales will be Fedex-d to the buyer for signature & return. Our core business is very high-end restorations of primarily European sports cars and several of our Ferrari, Maserati and Mercedes restorations have been awarded at Cavallino, Amelia island and Pebble Beach. We maintain a small showroom and inventory of specialty cars that we sell. Title will pass from the previous owner through our dealership and then to the new buyer. If the buyer is a Colorado resident, CO taxes will be collected; otherwise the car will be taxed in the buyer's jurisdiction. @FarlandClassic According to the CarFax the car was serviced 7 times in the last year even though it was only driven 157 miles. I can see that there is a stack of receipts which is great, but it’s hard to read them all given their arrangement in the photos. I just want to make sure there isn’t some persistent issue causing all this service. Are you able to show the full pages of the work orders for a least the last year?

As @PorscheGuy32 noted, another 6-speed 430 sold yesterday for 301K plus the 5K buyer's premium... and that car has crash damage on its CarFax plus documentation about its successful repair.

A set of CS wheels are on BAT now, I would buy and put them on this car. This is the holy grail of Ferraris. In a few years people will understand. How many Factory Gated 430's are on the market for sale? That should tell you something. These cars will be worth $500k in a few years.
The wheels were changed under prior ownership, although the titanium socket-head lugs from the Challenge wheels are included. No information about any header change came to us.
@FarlandClassic Do you retain the original challenge wheels that were on the car when delivered new? Also, any idea if the headers were replaced with MkII headers? Thank you.
A gated 430 on BAT just sold today for $306k. Seller nuts to let go cheap.
"Recommended service" means just that--what the factory manual calls for at the intervals; with such a low mileage car, that's mainly lubrication changes, coolant & brake fluid flushes. 430s DO NOT HAVE cam belts or any engine-out services ...which is just one of the many technological reasons they were such an improvement over the previous 8-cylinder Ferraris.
Reading the CARFAX, it is not clear on the services done in some instances. “Performed recommend service” is often written.
Are you able to speak to any engine out services? Belt replacements? Spark plugs, etc needed simply due to time (not necessarily miles)?

2) Same question for the oil filler cap. In photo 88 it looks damaged / scuffed. Is that accurate or was it just dirty?
@Noahjohn It does not have the prancing horse on the shift gate because it has the interior carbon fiber package where the knob has no shift pattern and its on the shift gate. Its the real deal, bid with confidence.
Having bought my first Ferrari in 1972, owned many, am regularly published in Ferrari-specific publications and managing a Ferrari dealership for over twenty years, such immersion in Ferrari culture quickly teaches one to not say things like "...they always have..." or "....they never had..." because Ferrari is a small company that buys many components from outside suppliers and variances occasionally occur (less so today). An easily-changed piece like a shift gate seems like an odd thing to worry about.
@FarlandClassic thank you for helping to clarify about the OEM manual 6speed. I would love to bid on this car but as mentioned in my earlier comment if I'm buying an original gated F430 I want it to have the prancing pony on the gate. I've been searching for one of these cars for nearly 12 months and I've never seen one without it. I know you mentioned that this car came with the optional carbon fiber shifting ball but I don't think Ferrari delivered any without the prancing pony on the gate. Do you have any idea why this one doesn't have it?

This car has the optional interior carbon upgrade including carbon shift ball and will not look like a 'normal' 6-speed. There is one ABSOLUTE way to know how a Ferrari was originally configured and that is the factory warranty book for the car, which on the first page will have 'F1' printed on the model line as this car has--that cannot be altered.
I agree. This looks like a conversion.
Can more detailed pictures of the steering column and vin plate be taken? The steering column would have openings for the F1 paddles or the vin plate may show signs of reapplied

@FarlandClassic are you sure this is a factory OEM 6speed? As far as I know all the gated manuals had the Ferrari prancing horse engraved on the gate of the shifter. This one does not. This gate is the aftermarket gate used by companies who do the manual conversions. If it is a factory 6speed manual can you explain why the factory gated was removed? This would be a huge deterrent for anyone wanting a factory F430 gated manual. Thanks.

@MrRdStr that is an old ad. The car is only available on Pcarmarket and there is a fair and reasonable reserve to ensure this car will sell. The biggest mistake buyers make is assuming the seller’s state of mind on price. Bid and you may just pleasantly surprised. Happy holidays!

Thank you for the positive comments and opening bids! To answer the questions:
Electronic clutch life estimates are not done on manual cars, just the F1s. (fortunately, a clutch replacement is not a major expense on a 430, since the clutch is easily accessible just inside the rear bumper--you don't have to take the transaxle out)
I don't have brake pad measurements, but this car has had no track use and typically street-driven 8-cylinder Ferraris can give 25,000 miles on front pads. (I managed a Ferrari dealership for over twenty years and sold 430s new)
The car had ClearBra applied to the front bumper, front half of hood and fender noses when it was new. (there is one very small stone peck farther up the hood)
I will have someone get paint meter readings on Tuesday--but the car is ALL original paint.
Can't explain the smudges on the wheel or oil cap, but don't think there is any damage and will have someone take new close-up pics Tuesday.
