The first-generation Ford GT was introduced in 2005 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Ford and pays tribute to the original GT40 Mark II race car that was victorious at Le Mans during the late 1960s. The Ford GT was widely considered the first modern supercar built in the United States, featuring an aluminum chassis, Brembo brakes, carbon-fiber bucket seats, and a supercharged 5.4L V8 with a 6-speed manual transmission. This exquisite example is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas while showing under 1,600 miles on the odometer.
Constructed of lightweight aluminum body panels of an extruded aluminum spaceframe, the Ford GT includes an aggressive rear diffuser, dual center-exit exhaust system, side air intakes, a vented hood, a front splitter, and a transparent engine cover. This example is finished in Quick Silver with optional over-the-top stripes in black and 18”/19” BBS forged lightweight aluminum wheels. The cockpit is trimmed in Ebony leather upholstery with manually adjustable Sparco carbon fiber bucket seats with GT40-style ventilation grommets. Details include aluminum-rimmed GT40-style instrumentation, GT40-inspired dash-mounted toggle switches, a cast magnesium center console with rotary climate controls, an aluminum ball shifter, a handbrake, and Ford-branded door sill guards. The driver is also supplied with air conditioning, remote keyless entry, push-button ignition, and the optional McIntosh stereo system which equips a subwoofer between the seats.
The mid-mounted 5.4-liter DOHC V8 engine is paired with a Lysholm screw-type supercharger for an output of up to 550 HP and 500 lb.-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a Ricardo 6-speed manual transmission and a helical limited-slip differential. The Ford GT can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3.3 seconds with a top speed of over 200 MPH. Stopping power is provided by Brembo brakes featuring four-piston monoblock calipers with cross-drilled and ventilated rotors measuring 14” in the front and 13.2” in the rear.

@Boattail .... There are no modifications ... This is a very early car , 22nd built , these toggle switches were on the prototype cars , very few cars were built this way. Look at the front grille , it is a metal mesh and not plastic , they made running changes as they went.

Yes , all gauges are working. It does have PPF film on the bumper that wraps around behind the headlights and up to the front bonnet .
If you look at the toggle switches you will see that one of them lights up , you wont see that on other GTs

Pretty sure this has the full four options - McIntosh stereo with a subwoofer between the seats, BBS forged wheels, painted center racing stripe, grey brake calipers. Don't see too many with the side stripe delete option which was free. Looks beautiful. GLWS!
