We are pleased to offer this 2005 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren presented in Crystal Galaxit Black over an exclusive Silver Arrow Red leather interior. Evoking the spirit of the original 1955 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé, the modern SLR supercar was developed by Mercedes-Benz in collaboration with their Formula One partner McLaren. Designed by Gordan Murray, the SLR was an automotive marvel of its day featuring a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, an active rear spoiler, Sensotronic carbon-ceramic brakes, butterfly doors, and a hand-built AMG 5.4L supercharged V8 generating over 600 HP. It was assembled at the McLaren Technology Centre in Surrey, England, with a total of 2,157 units built over a 6-year production run. This 2005 example has been cared for by the same family since new and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada while showing just over 18k kilometers (11k miles) on the odometer.
This SLR comes finished in Crystal Galaxit Black and features butterfly-style doors, dual side-exit exhaust, front fender vents, a large rear diffuser, smooth underbody, and an active rear spoiler that deploys automatically at varying degrees to maximize downforce and assist with braking. The striking bodywork is constructed from lightweight carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) and the exterior is described to be well preserved apart from a few small imperfections on the wheels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This SLR rides on factory 19” turbine-style wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires dated from 2010.
Inside, this SLR showcases a beautifully appointed cockpit trimmed in black and Silver Arrow Red leather with adjustable carbon-fiber bucket seats. Features include a grey Alcantara headliner, dual-zone automatic climate control, pushbutton ignition, a multifunction steering wheel, full power accessories, and an audio system. Some small scratches are noted on the inner driver’s door handle and center console.
Mounted ahead of the cockpit towards the middle of the chassis for optimal weight distribution, the 5.4L all-aluminum V8 was hand-built by AMG and features a Lysholm-type twin-screw supercharger with dual intercoolers. Offering an output of up to 617 HP and 580 lb.-ft of torque with 13psi of boost, the SLR can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3.6 seconds with a top speed over 200 MPH. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 5-speed AMG Speedshift R automatic transmission, while the car’s tremendous power is tamed by large carbon-ceramic brakes and Mercedes' Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC) system. The suspension consists of unequal-length control arms at all corners. Some maintenance history is provided on the CARFAX report including a major service in 2017 at 10,222 miles including new intake manifold gaskets, spark plugs, a coolant change, brake fluid flush, and oil service. The last documented service was completed in May of 2020 and included the installation of a new battery.
This sale will include a license plate mounting bracket and a clean title. Representing one-third of the original supercar “Holy Trinity” alongside the Ferrari Enzo and Porsche Carrera GT, the SLR McLaren offers exceptional value as an appreciating collector's item.

@SofiaLeo The car has never been in any accidents, I did double check and have found out that the front bumper / cover has been repainted twice with some bodywork. This is due to stone chips, road rash, and a scrape from a curb. The owner wanted the car perfect and always had it fixed right away. My apologies for not having this information right away. The car’s service is up to date.
