Up for auction is this 2005 Porsche 997 Carrera Coupe finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a black interior.  Marking the inaugural year of the 997 generation, this 2005 Carrera Coupe came optioned with a 6-speed manual transmission along with 19” Carrera S wheels, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), heated leather Sport Seats, and the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package.  An upgraded shifter and engine mounts have been equipped and this 997 benefits from an IMS bearing, water pump, and clutch replacement as well as a recent fluid flush service.  Having spent nearly its entire life in California, this Carrera Coupe is now being offered for auction with approximately 69k miles showing on the odometer.

This 997 comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and sports removable black stone guard decals over the rear fenders as well as a set of Euro-style clear side marker lenses.  The seller reports evidence of clearcoat peeling above the passenger-side door handle as well as a small paint crack on the driver-side rear bumper and several small rock chips on the front end.  The passenger-side rear fender is also said to have been refinished under prior ownership, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.  This 997 rides on factory optioned 19” Carrera S wheels dressed in a mixed set of Continental and Goodyear tires.

This first-generation 997 Carrera is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.6L flat-six engine rated at 325 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque.  The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission while handling is aided by factory optioned Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) dampers.  Upgraded Function First engine mounts have been equipped and the seller reports the clutch and IMS bearing to have been replaced at approximately 45k miles.  More recent service items include the replacement of the water pump, serpentine drive belt, and exchanges of all fluids at 68k miles.
