DT-Direct 2005 Porsche 997 Carrera S 6-Speed Launch Edition

Now available is this 2005 Porsche 997 Carrera S Coupe finished in Black over a matching full leather interior. Designated as a 997 launch model, this inaugural-year Carrera S features desirable factory options including Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), Sport Chrono Package Plus, the Bose High-End Sound Package, Adaptive Sports Seats, and a 6-speed manual transmission. Some custom accents have been added and the car has been with the current owner since 2018. Showing approximately 49k miles, this Carrera S is now being offered by its seller out of Florida.

This Carrera S comes finished in Black with yellow Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) calipers. The full exterior has been treated with ceramic coating and modifications include a removable matte black wrap on the front trunk, yellow accents and “Carrera S” badging, LED taillights (originals included), and quad exhaust tips. It rides on a set of 19” Forgestar wheels finished in black with yellow stripes.  The tires are recommended for replacement and the seller notes that the car was involved in a minor incident that required refinishing of the hood and bumpers. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a full CARFAX report.

The black full leather interior is highlighted by a pair of heated Adaptive Sport Seats. The dashboard, seatbacks, door sills, and center console have been finished in glass black with yellow accents, and the Alcantara steering wheel features a yellow 12 o’clock marking and contrast stitching. Other details include the Bose High-End Sound Package, automatically dimming mirrors, a navigation module for the PCM system, a hidden Bluetooth module, removable window tints, and a Rennline phone mount. The seller confirms all gauges, electronics, and accessories are functional apart from the switch to manually lower and raise the rear spoiler.

Power comes from a 3.8L flat-six engine that drives the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The engine was replaced in 2016 at 37k miles due to a bore scoring issue by a Porsche dealer at a cost of nearly $27k. A Speedtech exhaust system with remote bypass and a Fabspeed cold air intake provide increased power and a more aggressive tone. The CARFAX report shows 26 service history records dating back as far as 2004, and the seller notes the vehicle has received regular oil and filter changes and most recently new front struts at 47k miles.

This sale will include a clean title (lien).
