A sendoff to the 996 generation, the 911 Turbo S was produced for the 2005 model year as the ultimate flagship 911 featuring the X50 Powerkit and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) as standard equipment. This example is one of only 600 Turbo S Coupes produced in total and comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Graphite Grey full leather interior. It was also equipped from the factory with optional 18” GT3 wheels, stainless steel exhaust pipes, and a carbon fiber-trimmed Sport Shifter for its 6-speed manual transmission. Benefitting from a $36k service investment including welded coolant pipes, this Turbo S Coupe was previously listed on PCARMARKET and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida while showing just over 48k miles on the odometer.

The 996 Turbo features distinctive bodywork with model-specific bumpers, flared rocker panels, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and wide fenders with integrated side air intakes. The Turbo S receives silver badging on the rear decklid and yellow-painted calipers as part of its ceramic brake system. This Turbo S is said to be one of only 40 U.S. examples finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and features optional stainless-steel quad-tipped exhaust pipes. It rides on optional 18” GT3 wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (3821). The seller describes the exterior to be in very good overall condition with no significant imperfections, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Inside, the Turbo S features aluminum-look instrument dials with a “Turbo S” logo tachometer as well as model logo door sills and a silver designation on the center console. The cabin of this example is trimmed in Graphite Grey full leather upholstery and features optional carbon fiber and aluminum inlays for the shifter and brake handle. Other options heated front seats with lumbar support, a Sport Shifter, and Natural Grey floor mats. The car is also equipped with cruise control, a 6-disc CD changer, and a Bose sound system. The seller indicates a small blemish on the radio trim surround and a new replacement trim piece will be included.

The Turbo S comes standard with the X50 Powerkit which equips its 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine with larger K24 turbochargers and intercoolers along with a revised ECU and exhaust system. Up to 450 HP is sent to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) come standard and includes larger 6-piston monobloc front calipers and cross-drilled 350mm ceramic discs at the front and rear. The seller indicates that $36k was invested in service between 2020 and 2021 including welded coolant lines, upgraded silicone hoses, and a performance air filter. Corresponding records are provided in the gallery.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, service records, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “An exceptional example of 996 Turbo S manual coupe. Very rare car as it is a 1 of 5 made in Artic Silver with Graphite Grey. All-important cooling lines have been welded and not pinned.”

For bidder clarification: Was this car ordered with the wheels and exhaust tips or were those added later?

Well my 03 that I bought here is at 650 horsepower and I only have $65k total in it. I’m actually bumping it up a bit more is at shop now, coils plugs, front brakes, coolant flush, oil change. Then I’m ready for more umph. The scary thing is that the turbos are good for 850 horsepower. Horsepower and speed are addictive. GLWTS

    2005 Porsche 911 Turbo S with manual transmission. $139,900

1 of only 183 made with a manual transmission.

$25,000 has been spent in the last few months on maintenance items to make this car as new. Everything in the engine, clutch, brake system, wing hydraulics, has all been replaced and is new. This car needs nothing.

    Carbon ceramic brakes. upgraded amplifier.

    Cobb tuned. Dyno shows 473HP!

@rbrunson Car has never been tracked to my knowledge. No DME report. Unfortunately when I took the car to the Porsche dealership for a PPI they were unable to at that time even though I requested it

XCZ Sport Shifter option affords you a the very rare detail of a Turbo S script on the shifter (pic 146). Even the Turbo S had a standard Turbo script on the shifter unless the car was optioned with XCZ. My understanding is there were only around 185 996 Turbo S Manuals produced. You want rare for Porsche, this car is one of them. I think the Silver exterior really smacks the period correct color stamp on this early to mid 2000's car, even though procuction for Silver was low for this particular model. GLWTA!

Wow. This is a rare bird 996 Turbo S should be the next car to fly, the way 997 turbo market is flowing.
