The seller describes the Arctic Silver Metallic finish to be in great original condition, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery.  Yellow PCCB calipers complement the aftermarket 19” BBS wheels finished in black.  New Bridgestone Potenza S-04 tires were installed in 2018 and the seller reports some curb rash on the passenger side rear wheel.

Inside, this 997 showcases a premium Cocoa special leather interior with extended leather upholstery on the door finishers, inner door sills, and sun visors.  Other exclusive details include Porsche crested headrests, a Sport Shifter, a rear center console and switch panel in aluminum-look, metal door sill insignias, and a leather Sport Steering Wheel.  The leather exhibits some wear and the seller confirms all gauges and accessories to be in proper working order.  A detailed list of factory specifications amounting to an original cost of over $110k is provided below:

@garagisti Hey, thanks for the question. Yes, they are the original set to my knowledge. I have not replaced nor was it in the service history but they were recently measured per my other comment. Drive great and very responsive!

@garagisti Edit: I noticed you addressed comments below on the condition, would still like to know if they're the original set. Thanks!

Is this car still on the original set of PCCB rotors or are these replacements? What's the condition of the front rotors? I couldn't get a good view of them in the photos. Thanks!

@ramielmansour Hi, I have had the car serviced during my ownership, and no reported issue with IMS bearing in its history since 2005.

  • ramielmansour (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago

have you had oil analysis done to rule out any IMS related issues?

Browsing the photos. When I was a kid my girlfriend lived in MDR. The photo looks like it was taken where her families condo was. Way cool. Nice C2S.

@CBRacerX Thanks for the note. I just called the mechanic at Euro-Tech Motors here in LA to discuss. What he said was that the "PCCB were inspected and measured for thickness and there was no recommendation to change or replace."

    Hope that is helpful!

  • CBRacerX (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago

I am also interested in the details of the PCCB inspection results.

  • jmleeney (seller) 3 years, 2 monthsago

Hi Chris, thanks for your questions. Some detail below:

The 10/21/20 service was the last performed and full inspection on the car. I was subsequently in NY for all of Nov/Dec and have only begun driving it again in January so consider it fresh!

There was no issue with the brake pad, disc, or clutch per the mechanic's inspection. I have never had a rubbing issue with the wheels in my 3+ years ownership, handling is rock solid.

The mechanic only suggested a new starter motor and washer pump per the invoice notes. All else works fine and the car has been driven regularly this past month with no issue.

  • chrissaari (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago

Service on 10/21/20 states PCCB brake pad and disc remaining was inspected, what were the results? When was clutch last done? Wheels look like they might cause rubbing issues? Interested, but wondering what issues beyond starter and washer pump replacement need attention.
