Finished in Black over a Sand Beige interior, this launch-year 2005 Porsche 987 Boxster features a 5-speed manual transmission as well as optional automatic climate control, the Bose Surround Sound System, Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, and heated power seats. This Boxster is now being offered for auction at no reserve by its seller out of Ohio showing 99,990 miles on the odometer.
This Boxster is finished in nonmetallic Black (A1) paint with a matching retractable soft top, optional Bi-Xenon headlights, and factory 17” Boxster II wheels. The car rides on a set of Firestone Firehawk A/S tires from 2020 and the seller states the front bumper, hood, and fenders were refinished during their ownership to address road-going wear. The windshield was also replaced about a year ago. Some imperfections are depicted throughout the exterior and a CARFAX report is provided in the gallery showing damage to the left rear end in 2013.
The Sand Beige standard leather interior comes factory equipped with optional heated and power-operated seats as well as self-dimming mirrors with integrated rain sensor, automatic climate control, a removable wind deflector, and Bose Surround Sound System. The current owner replaced the PSM and rear spoiler switches as well as the convertible top microswitch, motor arms, and relay.
A naturally aspirated 2.7-liter flat-six engine produces up to 240 HP and 199 lb.-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The water pump and serpentine belt are believed to have been replaced by the prior owner and the seller has more recently replaced the strut top mounts and power steering return line. The CARFAX report also shows the front brake pads were replaced in 2019 as well as an alignment performed by Porsche North Olmstead in 2021.
This sale will include a clean title.

@stovall40014 it has not during my ownership or previous to my knowledge. With my research, I believe this one has the more reliable IMS bearing so wasn’t too much of a concern. I’d always encourage next owner to do oil analysis with every oil change.

@cyeager that is correct, it’s a 5-speed + reverse so assuming that’s why.
Fourth paragraph in description states 6 speed trans but title and elsewhere states 5 speed. I'm assuming it's a 5 speed?

Hello Pcar community! I’m so happy to bring to you my 2005 Boxster that is a blast to whip around town! I have a handful of aircoooled 911, 996 turbo and had an m3 and absolutely this stood out as a fun experience! I’ve done everything I can to make sure To get all issues repaired for resale and have done my best to be a good Steward!
