Introduced at the 75th Geneva Motor Show in 2005 as the world's fastest and most powerful production sedan, the first-generation Bentley Continental Flying Spur is an opulent full-sized luxury car based on the two-door Continental GT, featuring the same twin-turbocharged W12 engine sending over 550 HP to all four wheels. This 2006 example is finished in Dark Sapphire over saddle brown and blue leather upholstery with burl wood trim. Having been registered to a single owner in Virginia until 2021, this Continental Flying Spur is now being offered for auction out of Massachusetts with under 28k miles showing on the odometer.
The Flying Spur derives its body styling from the two-door Continental GT and offers a 12.6” longer wheelbase. This example is finished in Dark Sapphire with a chrome front grille, body trim, and dual exhaust outlets. Other details include quad bi-xenon headlamps with washers, rain-sensing windshield wipers, LED taillights, soft-close doors, a power-closing trunk lid, parking sensors, heated and power-folding side mirrors, and chrome 19” wheels. The seller notes some chips and scratches around the exterior along with cracks on the front bumper and bubbles on the tire sidewalls. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features saddle brown leather upholstery with matching carpets, burl wood trim, and contrasting blue leather on the upper door panels, dashboard, and center console. Accessories include heated, ventilated, and massaging front and rear seats, four-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a navigation system, an electric sunroof, a Breitling dashboard clock, and a touchscreen infotainment system with navigation. The seller notes that the CD changer has been removed and the headliner is aging. A SiriusXM satellite radio receiver has also been installed along with a cellphone mount on the center console.
A twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W12 engine delivers up to 552 HP and 479 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission. The car comes standard with adaptive air suspension, a limited-slip differential, speed-sensitive power steering, a traction control system, and ventilated disc brakes with ABS. An oil service is said to have been completed in June 2024.
This sale will include a clean title (lien).
