The second-generation BMW M Coupe was launched in 2006 based upon the Z4 (E86) chassis, featuring an M3-derived S54 engine, 6-speed manual transmission, and limited-slip differential along with upgraded brakes and suspension. A total of 1,815 second-generation M Coupes were produced for North America, and this 2006 example is said to be one of only 9 finished in Alpine White III over a Light Sepang Bronze Extended Nappa Leather interior. Showing just over 35k miles on the odometer, this rare Z4 M Coupe is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
The M Coupe features a fastback design with aggressive M-specific bumpers, a sculpted front bonnet, and quad exhaust outlets. This example is finished in Alpine White III and rides on upgraded 19” E46 M3 Competition wheels. The exterior is described to be in very good overall condition and the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires are said to have been mounted within the last two years. The cockpit features Light Sepang Bronze Extended Nappa Leather upholstery and an Anthracite headliner. Other equipment includes heated M sports seats with memory, a leather M sports steering wheel, automatic climate control, a navigation system, and a HiFi sound system. The seller adds that the previous owner installed carbon fiber-style leather trim.
Borrowed from the E46 M3, the Z4 M Coupe features a naturally aspirated 3.2-liter S54 inline-six engine with double VANOS variable valve timing and an output of up to 330 HP stock. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. This example has been upgraded with M3 CSL headers and a Supersprint exhaust for increased sound and power output. Compared to the standard Z4 model range, the M Coupe receives traditional hydraulic power steering along with a sport-tuned suspension and larger brakes from the M3. The seller states the engine’s rod bearing and VANOS system have been serviced and oil change changes have been carried out consistently.

One question came about if the check engine light is on since it has header, the light is not on, car is on stock map with secondary cats and extended O2 sensors. You can see in one of the videos that show the cluster.

Clean example. Headers/exhaust and the csl rims are nice upgrades. Rare OEM front strut brace to boot. Upgraded shifter knob is icing. Dash nav is the only detractor IMO. Gorgeous ride. GLWA.
@Audiophilic I have a really low interest rate on it and would rather not pay it off until the day it's sold. The credit union I have the loan with is very easy to deal with. I don't anticipate any issues.

@MJomaa - Thanks for clarifying. I actually went over to the Z4M buyers guide and did a vin search to see if the vehicle had sales history over there. The aero skirts were casually listed in the previous listing from 2020 ? Again, thanks for clarifying.

Are the Aero side skirts OEM or aftermarket?
P.S. original exhaust parts including exhaust manifolds with Cats and original mufflers are included in the sale should the buyer want to revert it back to 100% stock.
