The Maserati GranSport is the sporting version of the Maserati 4200GT coupe, introduced in 2004 with revised aerodynamics, a retuned suspension, an upgraded engine and transmission, and a redesigned interior. This 2006 example was ordered in Grigio Touring (Silver) over a black leather interior with red accents and was delivered new to Ferrari Denver in 2006, spending time in Kansas and Florida before being acquired by the current owner. Having seen dealership and specialty shop maintenance the majority of its life, this Maserati is now being offered at auction by the seller based in Florida, showing 44,678 miles on the odometer.

The Giorgetto Giugiaro/Frank Stephenson-designed bodywork is finished in Grigio Touring Silver and features revised front and rear bumpers, side skirts, underbody paneling, and a rear lip spoiler, as well as front and rear chrome grilles, bi-xenon headlights with washers, power mirrors, tinted windows, red brake calipers, polished quad exhaust tips, Maserati Trident badging on the C-pillar, and Giugiaro Design badging on the rocker panels. The CARFAX report shows a minor accident occured in 2019 that resulted in the replacement of the front bumper cover, and the seller describes the exterior to remain in excellent condition, noting two small chips in the clearcoat and a minor scuff on the rear passenger wheel. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with the CARFAX report. The 19” Trofeo-design wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact tires.

The contoured sport seats are upholstered in black leather with contrasting red piping, featuring a matching dashboard, center stack, and door panels. The center console, door sill guards, and door panels are adorned with carbon fiber trim along with the steering wheel, which features perforated leather grips and aluminum paddle shifters. Amenities include power-adjustable heated seats, automatic climate control, drilled aluminum pedals, blue-faced instrumentation, and a central analog clock. The seller reports some bolster wear and scuffs to the driver’s seat.

The Gransport is equipped with a naturally-aspirated 4.2L F136-R V8, derived from the Ferrari F430, and features dry-sump lubrication, a redesigned exhaust system, and upgrades to the intake manifold and valve seats. As much as 396 HP and 333 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed Cambiocorsa automated manual transmission, allowing the GranSport to reach 60 MPH from a standstill in 4.8 seconds with a claimed top speed of 180 MPH. The GranSport also received a 10mm lower ride height than a standard 4200GT, the Skyhook adaptive suspension system, and a “Sport” button that changes the damper program, gearshift speed, and accelerator response. The seller reports all maintenance is up-to-date, with records showing routine oil changes, a battery replacement, new valve cover seals, a new variator solenoid, a clutch adjustment, and service of the air conditioning system. The last oil change was carried out 300 miles ago.

This sale will include 3 sets of keys, owner’s manuals, and service documentation.

Good morning everyone, the auction will be ending right around 3 PM today. Please feel free to reach out for last minute questions. A cold start and quick test drive video was added. Having the life of the clutch checked yesterday there were no faults in the system. This car has been very impressive. Thank you, good luck bidding!

Hello everyone, here are some updates on the car. I found an invoice for a more recent service at 39K miles. Oil was also changed very recently in preparation for sale.
In regards to the clutch I had a Ferrari Independent shop run a diagnostics to get the clutch wear. From what he found he states the car has had its clutch changed. It showed 0% wear currently. Photo of the readout has been added to the gallery. Thank you.

@Duke_dallas Hello, I will add the more recent service which included an oil change around 300 miles ago. For the clutch I will look into having that read. It thankfully lived most of its life on flat roads rather than being daily driven in somewhere such as Asheville, NC. Thank you.

@powersmotorsports Any service records since 2018? I see there was a clutch adjustment 25k miles ago; Any idea on remaining clutch life? Thanks.
