We are pleased to offer this 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren presented in Crystal Laurite Silver Metallic over a Silver Arrow Red leather interior. Inspired by the legendary 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé of 1955, the modern SLR supercar was developed by Mercedes-Benz in collaboration with their Formula One partner McLaren. Based around a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis and designed by Gordan Murray, the SLR was an automotive marvel of its day with features including an active rear spoiler, Sensotronic carbon-ceramic brakes, butterfly doors, and a hand-built AMG 5.4L supercharged V8 generating over 600 HP. Assembled at the McLaren Technology Centre in Surrey, England, a total of 2,157 examples were built over a 6-year production run with only 261 units sold for the 2006 model year. Presented in its most iconic color combination, this 2006 example was acquired by the second and current owner in 2010 with only 778 miles traveled from new, and has been sparingly driven and garage-kept ever since. Now showing just under 2k miles on the odometer, this highly collectible SLR McLaren is being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.
This SLR comes finished in its debut color of Crystal Laurite Silver Metallic, a shade that pays homage to Mercedes’ famed “Silver Arrow” race cars. Distinctive features of the SLR include butterfly-style doors, dual side-exit exhaust, front fender vents, a large rear diffuser, and an active rear spoiler that deploys automatically at varying degrees to maximize downforce and assist with braking. The bodywork is constructed from lightweight carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). This example remains well preserved apart from a small crack on the lower front spoiler and light curb rash on the left rear wheel, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This SLR rides on factory 19” turbine-style wheels which remain dressed in their original Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires.
Inside, this SLR showcases a beautifully appointed cockpit finished in black and Silver Arrow Red leather with adjustable carbon-fiber bucket seats. Amenities include a grey Alcantara headliner, dual-zone automatic climate control, pushbutton ignition, a multifunction steering wheel, power accessories, and an audio system.
The front-mid-mounted 5.4L all-aluminum V8 was hand-built by AMG and features a Lysholm-type twin-screw supercharger with dual intercoolers. Offering an output of up to 617 HP and 580 lb.-ft of torque with 13psi of boost, the SLR is capable of accelerating from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 207 MPH. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 5-speed AMG Speedshift R automatic transmission, while stopping power is handled by large carbon-ceramic brakes featuring Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC). The suspension consists of unequal-length control arms at all corners. The seller notes that the car has received the first of its scheduled services and that all fluids have been changed. CARFAX also shows a routine maintenance inspection to have been completed by Silver Star Motors in 2017.
This sale will include a clean title. One of the greatest supercars of the early 2000s, this low-mileage SLR McLaren presents an excellent investment opportunity as well as a fine choice for any discerning car collector.

Sorry for the delay, I have requested the vehicle service report be uploaded to this auction post for everyone’s viewing. Only thing not on here would be some oil changes done by my personal friend/Mercedes mechanic. The car was lightly Sunday driven since I purchased it in 2010.

I'm also looking forward to seeing the service history, it is important to know that all scheduled services have been completed. These are great cars, however they are very expensive to maintain.
