Designated as a launch car for the model year, this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera 4 Coupe comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Black full leather interior and features a 6-speed manual transmission as well as heated seats with Porsche crested headrests, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package. It was acquired by the second and current owner from an authorized Porsche dealer in 2013 with under 3k miles showing on the odometer and has since been meticulously maintained including the replacement of the water pump, clutch, brakes, spark plugs, coolant tank, airbag sensor, and much more. This Carrera 4 is now being offered for auction by its owner out of New York while showing approximately 131k miles on the odometer.
This 997 is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and includes a speed-activated rear spoiler, optional bi-xenon headlamps, stainless quad exhaust tips, and factory 19” Carrera III wheels in silver with colored Porsche crest center caps. The exterior is described to be in very good overall condition apart from a slight paint chip on the right rear fender and some signs of road-going wear. The cabin is appointed with premium Black full leather upholstery including optional heated and power-operated seats with Exclusive Porsche crest embossed headrests. Other equipment includes an electric tilt/slide sunroof, automatic climate control, cruise control, heated power mirrors, a trunk-mounted CD changer, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), and an aftermarket Parrot Bluetooth phone receiver. The seller notes a hardwired connection for a Valentine 1 radar detector is installed, the rearview mirror was replaced in 2021 and an airbag sensor was replaced in September 2023. A naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 325 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes place in under 5 seconds and stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston brakes paired with ventilated and cross-drilled discs at each corner. Consistent maintenance has been observed throughout the seller’s ownership including routine oil and brake changes as well as a major service and water pump replacement in 2015, a new clutch and rear vent hose in 2017, and a new water pump pulley and alternator belt in 2021. Three fuel injectors were also replaced in 2022 along with the coolant tank, variable timing solenoid, and cam adjuster cover plates and seals. The most recent service in January 2023 included a new battery, spark plugs, ignition coils, valve lift solenoids, lambda probe parts, and an oil change. Hi seller. I did not see any suspension work? Is it safe to assume this is all the original suspension? I’m also guessing when the clutch was done, the mechanic stated that the IMS bearing looks good? Looks like you do a lot of highway miles.

No oil analysis has been done the only dealing I have with oil for this car is to change oil every 5 to 6 thousand miles

The sweet spot is the perfect adjective , just get in and drive with all Porsche comfort
In about 5 years this era 997 will be very valuable. The last of the great analog 911's. They are the sweet spot of the market now. Update the PCM with a modern head unit and you will have it all. Get them while you can.

I have the exact same car with the same color & mileage. I drive it like I stole it every day. It’s got styling, fit & finish, it’s fast, reliability, the engine is solid. It’s got it all. Whoever buys this is going to have a blast! The wife and I are heading on a 6 hour drive in it this morning.
