This 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera 4S is finished in Black over a Sand Beige full leather interior and features a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its 3.8-liter flat-six engine. This example is finished in Black and equipped with bi-xenon headlamps, 997.2-style LED taillights, optional self-dimming mirrors, ceramic window tints, clear side marker lenses, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, quad Sport Exhaust tailpipes, rear fender stone guard decals, and red Porsche-branded brake calipers. The car rides on 19” Carrera S wheels with aftermarket spacers and new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires mounted within the last 1k miles. The seller indicates the car’s paint is original and in very good condition, with clear paint protection film applied to the front end since 2023. The cabin is appointed with Sand Beige full leather upholstery and a matching Alcantara headliner. Accessories included optional heated and power-adjustable front seats with driver memory and lumbar support, Porsche-crested headrests, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, black carpet floor mats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch, a multifunction trip computer, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), and the Bose High-End Sound Package. The seller notes a small scratch on the left driver’s seat bolster and some discoloration on the shift knob and parking brake handle.
Factory-rated at 355 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque, the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine features integrated dry sump lubrication, VarioCam Plus variable valve timing, and a 2-stage resonance induction system. It drives all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle. Standard performance features include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Stability Management (PSM), and 13” cross-drilled brake discs with fixed 4-piston calipers at the front and rear. This car is also equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, Sport Exhaust System, and Eibach lowering springs for a European-spec ride height. The seller notes the oil and transmission fluid were changed in May 2025, along with leak-down and compression tests which yielded healthy results.

@Takeittwothelimit , in image 61 it looks like there are some cables near the mirror and behind the passenger visor. Could you share info on these items?
@takeittwothelimit As far as I can see, the brief video has the deck lid down. If we can get some good audio of the engine running (lid up), we can listen for ticks, knocks, etc. Additionally, there are large portions of the underside of the car (mechanicals, plastics, and body) that are not pictured, and better views would help bidders understand the condition of the vehicle. If you are able to upload photos of the individual documents and inspection reports that you do have, it also would be very helpful.
@Dentalflosstycoon That’s a lot of questions. Maybe start by review the listing again, because some of questions and photos you are requesting are already there, along with Cold Start video with engine hood up.
1-3.The CarFax shows the car was serviced by Porsche dealership in first ownership. I have NO paper copies of services. CarFax does offer some details in their report.
I have a DME report from second owner, and the car has a few slight over revs, nothing that worried me. I’ll try to locate the data. No bore scope report, no oil analysis.
When I return home later this week I’ll upload tail pipe photos.
The Leakdown and compression report is in with Photo with owners manual and yes it has 2 Keys in photo and they both work.
4.everything works on the car perfectly All options are working properly.
5. I’ve owned the car for about a year and I added one quart in the 4k miles I drove it last year. The oil and transmission were changed in preparation for the sale of the car. That’s when I had my tech perform Leakdown and Compression test. the numbers look almost new.

7. I can take photos of rotors and pads, but they are in good condition and not needing replacement, probably over half life on pads.
8-9. Everything works. Im a perfectionist and I don’t like when things don’t work. There is nothing needing attention on the car.

The only reason I’m selling this car is I bought another 911 and I don’t have garage space for two Porsche’s and keep my wife happy.

This is a great looking car. Apologies for the litany of questions, but I’ll try to get them all out at once and early:
1. Do you have any of the maintenance records, including compression and leakdown test plus any other work performed during or prior to current ownership? Of particular interest would be borescope results, DME reports, and any other inspection info.
2. Could you capture close-up images of the exhaust tips on the left and the right side?
3. How many keys come with the vehicle, and do all the remotes work?
4. Do the windows’ up and down sealing features function properly when the doors are opened and closed?
5. What can you share about the car’s oil consumption, oil change records, and any oil analyses?
6. Is it possible to capture any other shots under the car to present the condition of the floor and various aero bits and shields? How do the under side of the front lip plus the front pan look?
7. Do you have any measures of brake wear or at least close-up photos of the pads and rotors?
8. Are there any warning lights or unusual readings on the dashboard instruments?
9. How well do all the electronics and ancillary mechanical bits (spoiler lift, sunroof, power mirrors, seats, etc.) function?
10. Would it be possible to upload a driving video and video of cold start and engine operation with the deck lid up (mainly so we can hear the engine start and run)?
