Finished in Black over Sand Beige full leather upholstery, this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera 4S features a desirable 6-speed manual transmission paired with its naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine. It was further optioned with heated front seats, the Bose High-End Sound Package, the Power Seat Package, TPMS, the Sport Chrono Package, and more. Modified with a Turbo rear wing, 997.2 taillights, an FD Motorsports exhaust, and a Fabspeed air intake, this C4S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California with approximately 40k miles on the odometer.

The all-wheel-drive Carrera 4 models feature wider fenders than the standard 997 Carrera, while the premium “4S” models receive red-painted brake calipers and quad exhaust tips. This Carrera 4S is finished in Black with a matching convertible top. The seller adds that an OEM Turbo rear wing has been fitted along with 997.2-style taillights and aftermarket 19” wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2020. The factory 19” Carrera S wheels are said to accompany the sale. Minor imperfections include a scratch on the rear bumper near the license plate, paint chips on the passenger’s side rocker panel, and slight road wear on the rock guards. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is appointed with Sand Beige full leather upholstery. Optional equipment includes heated front seats, Porsche-crested headrests, the Power Seat Package, and the Sport Chrono Package Plus which adds a stopwatch dial atop the dashboard. The Bose High-End Sound Package, a remote 6-disc CD changer, and self-dimming mirrors were also selected. The seller adds that a custom 992 steering wheel, an aftermarket shift knob, and an aftermarket stereo touchscreen with Apple CarPlay has been installed. Minor imperfections are noted on some of the painted plastic pieces, and the rear fog light warning illuminates due to the aftermarket taillights.

A naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine provides up to 355 HP to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes place in less than 5 seconds and stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston brakes and cross-drilled 330mm rotors at each corner. The seller adds that an FD Motorsport exhaust and Fabspeed air intake have been installed, while the factory air intake is said to be included in the sale. The battery, air filters, and some belts are said to have been replaced along with several oil changes performed under current ownership. Additionally, the CARFAX report shows a total of 13 service history entries.

This sale will include a clean title, a toolkit, a car cover, a battery charger, and some factory parts.

The seller would like you to know: “This car is responsible for giving me the Porsche bug. I have fallen in love with it so much, that I already want to upgrade to a model that fits my lifestyle more as I'm finding myself wanting to drive this car much more than just as a weekend hobby.  This car runs great, I would not hesitate to hop in it today and drive it anywhere as far as needed. AC works great, everything functions as it should. This car is constantly being complimented and always referred to as being ‘so clean’ and ‘tastefully personalized.’ I can assure anyone that this car will be a great addition for you if you desire a sporty cabriolet without splurging for a Turbo.”

@RyanC423 Additionally, I don't I called it out enough.... The Turbo Wing/Deck lid is OEM and OEM paint. All OEM parts are on/in the unit as well. Fully functional. FYI....This part in OEM mint condition goes for around $2k on ebay.

I have added some pictures that capture most of the OEM parts. I think the floor mats are the only item i'm missing a pic of as I removed those upon delivery to me.

  • RyanC423 (seller) 3 months, 1 weekago

@CLEARVUDAVE I don't have record of it being replaced or not, but based on my research 2006 models had tremendously lower failure rates than the first 997 year (2005). I would research for your comfortability, but my research gave me peace of mind on it.

@Beach427 Hi, I ended up getting sick this week and was unable to get all items in one pic. Let me list the items and their condition for you. I'll try and attached infividuial oem pics from when i first got the car before I took the parts off.
-OEM Steering Wheel - mint condition
-OEM Sand Beige Mats- mint condition
-OEM Sand Beige Shift Knob- Great Condition (minor scuff or marks from wedding ring it appears- very minor
-OEM Rear Deck- Not mint condition- it fell off the garage shelf while stored and has a imperfection on one edge- the part is currently at the body shop so I could give a buyer the option to have it delivered with that piece repaired at buyer expense, would have to be partially resprayed though to be used on car.
    -OEM Air Intake
-OEM Lobster Claw Wheels powder coated black

@AnyOldIron No, there are no emissions issues with it. The wing is on a whole 1 piece unit including the rear deck. Its extremely easy to remove if you wanted to switch.

  • AnyOldIron (registered bidder) 3 months, 1 weekago

@seller Assume no issues with emissions in CA? Also, how easy will it be to remove the rear wing?

  • JohnCol (registered bidder) 3 months, 1 weekago

    Thank you.

  • RyanC423 (seller) 3 months, 1 weekago

@JohnCol Hi John, Yes both are included. I am working on getting all the OEM parts that come with the car in one picture. Another couple nice OEM pars that stands out to note is the OEM floor mats that are in perfect condition are stored and will be included with the vehicle, additionally a windscreen with storage bag.

  • JohnCol (registered bidder) 3 months, 1 weekago

Are the original steering wheel and shift nob included?

  • PCARMARKET_MODERATOR 3 months, 1 weekago

The listing has been updated to reflect the seller's notes; the vehicle has never been involved in an accident.

@JohnCol Thanks for the heads up. I’ll get with them on this tomorrow as well.

  • JohnCol (registered bidder) 3 months, 1 weekago

You might want to read the description from PCA. It says: The seller states this vehicle has been in an accident, and additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

  • RyanC423 (seller) 3 months, 1 weekago

@JohnCol Hi, I’m am the owner and there has been no known accident to my knowledge as per prior owner information and carfax. If you are referring to the scratches on the bumper, the prior owner told me it was from getting bumped from a parallel parking bump. I thought the Pcarmarket attached the Carfax. I’ll call them tomorrow morning and ask for them to attach it.

  • JohnCol (registered bidder) 3 months, 2 weeksago

Can you tell us about the accident? Is there a carfax coming?
