Pairing a 6-speed manual transmission with its 3.6-liter flat-six engine, this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera Coupe is finished in Black over Stone Grey upholstery. It features heated front seats, the Bose High-End Sound Package, Power Seat Package, Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). This example has been tastefully modified with OZ Racing Ultraleggerra wheels, BC Racing coilovers, 911 Design stainless steel mufflers, an FD Motorsports intake silencer delete & cold air elbow, and much more. Extensively serviced following the seller’s purchase on PCARMARKET in 2022, this Carrera is now being offered for auction with less than 109k miles on the odometer.

This example comes finished in Black and features the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package. Custom green-painted brake calipers are set behind aftermarket 19” OZ Racing Ultraleggera wheels with spacers and new Yokohama Advan Apex tires. The seller adds that older paint protection film was removed, and a paint correction was carried out 6 months ago followed by a full Revivify 3-year self-healing ceramic coating to the body, windows, and wheels. The seller notes minor dings and paint imperfections consistent with age. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The Stone Grey standard leather interior features matching floor mats, a sunroof, and heated front seats along with the Power Seat Package. Additional options include the Bose High-End Sound Package, self-dimming mirrors, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). A Kenwood head unit with Apple CarPlay has been added. The seller notes some light discoloration on the mats, the climate control dials have been replaced, and the center console plastic shows some imperfections.

The naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine produces up to 325 HP and drives the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Standard performance features include multi-piston brake calipers with cross-drilled and vented rotors, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), an automatic brake differential (ABD), and Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR). The seller states that maintenance items throughout the past year have included the installation of new coils and spark plugs, cabin and airbox filters, strut mounts, sway bar bushings, and motor mounts along with an LN Engineering oil filter upgrade, a new battery, and a wheel alignment. Upgrades throughout this time have also included the installation of BC Racing coilovers, 911 Design stainless steel mufflers, and an FD Motorsports intake silencer delete & cold air elbow. The seller adds that, before their acquisition, the cylinder bores were scoped, and no scoring was found. Additionally, a bump steer kit is said to accompany the sale.

This sale will include a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “Thanks for your interest in my 997. I purchased and upgraded this car with the intent of making it a fun daily driver. Shortly after getting it sorted, I purchased a 993. The 993 stole my heart, so it's time to find this beautiful 997 a new home where it can be driven and enjoyed. Best of luck to all the bidders!”

Paint meter reading added to the gallery. Please excuse the water. It's been raining on and off the past few days. I also included a photo of the extra/stock parts that will be included. if the car sells When I did the 100K I swapped the coil packs and kept the old ones. Nothing wrong with them, so you will get 6 spares.

@jvanburen yes, we have two properties. Our summer property is in Kohler. That said, the car is now back in Austin for the winter. Let me know if you would like a private tour via FaceTime or any additional photos.

I notice the WI plates on the car but the location says Austin, TX. If the car is for some reason in WI I would like to arrange to take a look at it.

Car was in for 10K service and inspection today. Photos are posted in the gallery. The only issue was one fault code from the aftermarket side marker lights. They do work but I they throw a code. Unfortunately, they did not have time to diagnose it today. If time permits this weekend, I will try a different bulb.

  • twickes40 (seller) 5 months, 2 weeksago

@List-Renn very true. This is not collector car status and for me that was the draw. It's a car you can have fun with, and make your own. I realize my mods are personal, but could easily be reversed if a buyer chooses to do so.

P.S - The car is headed to Porsche today for a 10K and basic inspection. I will post that here later today along with a driving video.

  • twickes40 (seller) 5 months, 2 weeksago

@Koolbilly123 The original wheels were sold. I do have the original radio and I will include it with the car. I will have to look for the shift nob. I'm also including a bunch of extra parts (original coil packs, mufflers, Porsche sun shade, trickle charger, and whatever else I find.

  • List-Renn (registered bidder) 5 months, 2 weeksago

Having owned am '07 with almost the same exact build...the replaced OEM parts are very, very large downgrade. At 108K miles, it's never going to be in anyone's "collection", displayed as it left the factory.
They also have little to no value in the used market.

@twicks: great choices on the mods and GLWA. Enjoy your 993!

  • Koolbilly123 (registered bidder) 5 months, 2 weeksago

Hi Seller do you still have the original Wheels, radio and the shifter ?
    Thank you.

@Porschephilia Hi. It’s a “kit.” The elbow comes with the silencer delete plug. I’ll be uploading the cold start and a few other videos tonight.

  • Porschephilia (registered bidder) 5 months, 3 weeksago

    Great looking car.

Is the FD 'intake silencer delete' the same as the elbow? Couldn't find that product on their website at least under the 997.1 products.

Possible to upload cold start and exhaust note videos?

    GLWTA!

  • twickes40 (seller) 5 months, 3 weeksago

Welcome to my auction! Over the next few days I'll be adding a cold start video, driving video, walk around video, and pictures of "extras" that will be included with the car. I will also include paint meter reading. Feel free to ask any questions or send me a message if you would like to see it in person. PPIs are encouraged and welcome.
