Equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 3.8-liter flat-six engine, this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera S Cabriolet comes finished in Carrara White over a Sea Blue interior and was generously optioned from the factory with additional leather trim, Porsche-crested headrests, 19" Sport Design wheels, the Bose High-End Sound Package, Sport Exhaust System, and Custom Tailoring (special wishes requiring further communication). It was sold by its second owner on PCARMARKET in 2023 and is now being offered for auction out of New York showing approximately 23k miles on the odometer.
Compared to the entry-level 997 Carrera, the “S” model received red-painted brake calipers and quad exhaust outlets. This example is finished in Carrara White with a Metropol Blue convertible top and rides on factory 19” Sport Design wheels, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing minor damage to the right rear in January 2016.
The Sea Blue interior is appointed with optional supple leather seats including Porsche-crested headrests as well as additional leather covering the instrument surround, gear lever, and dashboard trim strip. Other options include heated front seats, the Power Seat Package, a three-spoke steering wheel in leather, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and Navigation for PCM.
Up to 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels from a 3.8-liter flat-six engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The optional Sport Shifter reduces gear lever throw while the Sport Exhaust System provides a more aggressive tone with the press of a button. The seller states an oil change was recently completed and the CARFAX report shows maintenance history including a previous 15k-mile service by a Porsche dealer in 2013.

The color combination, and the wheels...this car is so beautiful! I noticed 3 emissions failures on the Carfax. As I'm not a Porsche guy, and I see this quite often on other Carfax's of very low mileage Porsches, this seems to be thing?

I have no knowledge of a repair done but I did put a new stater and battery cable to the starter 100 miles ago and the car has new tires as well

When I purchased the car last year the previous owner told me that it was never in an accident and since then it’s been garage kept and less than 600 miles put on it
Can you share the right rear paint meters compared to the rest? Apparently, the prior owner was not transparent, they posted a Carfax with a clean bill of health, it looks like once you owned it, the minor damage appeared. Is there an explanation? Does it appear some work was done? I'm not afraid, just need a story since the 2nd owner never explained. Thanks and Good Luck
