Up for auction is this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera S Coupe finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a black interior. At an original sticker price of over $94k, this 6-speed Carrera S came optioned with the Sport Chrono Package Plus, Bose High-End Sound Package, a Sport Shifter, and heated power-operated seats upholstered in supple leather. The current owner has also installed H&R Competition lowering springs, a Fabspeed intake and exhaust, and Rennline aluminum race pedals. Service items include replacement of the clutch, starter, spark plugs, ignition coils, fuel pump assembly, and routine fluid changes. It is now being offered for auction by its owner out of New York while showing approximately 80k miles on the odometer.
This 997 comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and rides on 19” Carrera Classic wheels which have been custom powder-coated black. The car has been lowered on H&R Competition springs and fitted with wheels spacers and extended lug bolts. Clear European-style side marker lenses have also been installed as well as protective black stone guards ahead of the rear wheel arches. The car has been garage-kept by the current owner and used for two days on the track for Driver Education. Some cosmetic imperfections are present throughout the exterior, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires are said to have been mounted late in 2020 within the last 500 miles.
Inside, this Carrera features heated and power-operated front seats upholstered in supple leather. The driver is also supplied with a factory short-throw Sport Shifter, the Bose High-End Sound Package, Sport Chrono Package, self-dimming mirrors, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation, telephone nodule, and a remote 6-disc CD changer. Rennline aluminum race pedals have been installed along with a halon fire extinguisher affixed to a mounting bracket beneath the driver's seat. The cabin exhibits signs of wear, and the passenger-side inner door handle does not seat properly in the closed position.
This first-generation 997 Carrera S is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8L flat-six engine connected to a 6-speed manual transmission that delivers up to 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels. The optional Sport Chrono Package Plus allows the driver to optimize performance characteristics and adjust the stiffness of the PASM active suspension. Performance upgrades installed under the current ownership include a Fabspeed competition air intake, Fabspeed high-flow catalytic converters, and Fabspeed maxflow mufflers with black quad exhaust tips. The clutch is said to have been replaced at 52,837 miles along with the rear main seal, pilot bearing, and starter motor. The battery has also been replaced under the current ownership as well as the fuel pump assembly, spark plugs, ignition coils, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and coolant. Some corresponding invoices will accompany the sale.

I have an ‘07 C2S with similar intake/exhaust setup (minus X-pipe) and the sound is intoxicating, video does not do it justice! For me that sound alone is worth many $$$. GLWA
