Finished in the attractive combination of Atlas Grey Metallic over a Sea Blue full leather interior, this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera S Cabriolet was ordered at an original sticker price of over $104k with options including the Sport Chrono Package Plus, Power Seat Package, stainless-steel exhaust tips, and Bose High-End Sound Package. It has been garage-kept by its owner and maintained with replacements of the water pump, spark plugs, clutch, and service of the convertible top. Showing approximately 53k miles on the odometer, this 6-speed Carrera S is now being offered for auction out of Georgia.
This 997 is finished in Atlas Grey Metallic with a Metropol Blue cabriolet roof and features stainless-steel exhaust pipes as an exclusive factory option. Compared to a base Carrera, the “S” model receives quad-tipped exhaust outlets and upgraded red-painted brake calipers. The seller notes the convertible top mechanism was serviced with new arms and fluid in 2018, and the wheels are dressed in Pirelli and Michelin tires showing production codes 4410 and 2216 respectively. The cabin features premium Sea Blue full leather upholstery with matching carpets and optional heated power seats. Other options include navigation and telephone modules for PCM, a telephone handset, and the Bose High-End Sound Package. The seller notes a LoJack vehicle recovery system has been installed, although not yet activated, and the windshield washer pump needs to be replaced.
A naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH occurs in less than 5 seconds and the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus allows the driver to enhance performance capabilities and stiffen the active suspension (PASM) with the press of a button. The seller reports that annual oil changes and inspections have been observed, the water pump and clutch were replaced in 2016, and the spark plugs were replaced in 2017.

@Fipenna yes. 5W40 Synthetic oil. I would ask the technician everytime if there was anything he noticed and he did not notice anything different.

Nice. I always want to see a DME report also, @155MPH, as it eases my mind. Yet I sometimes have to remind myself that I can take certain things with a grain of salt too, and this is my friendly reminder of how to do the math.. @DEACS911 The phone holder will remain if you remove the phone. You may need a mechanic to remove the phone holder. However, I think it is a neat vintage thing to leave it there, because anyone who sat in the Porsche first noticed the phone and they liked it. Just FYI
What would be left if the phone as removed as far as marks or damage?

@Ilikeporsches It is not leather. It is the wire at the bottom of the phone where the sleeve is cut to expose the wires.
If you put a SIM in the SIM socket the phone will work.

Could you tell us about what looks like damage do the leatherette below the handset? In ohoto it almost looks as though something has spilled/dropped on it

Hi, super-nice 997 with good mileage. Have you recently checked for any evidence of bore scoring? Or done an internal cylinder check thru cameras?

I have documentation of yearly oil change and inspections, 2014 -present done by Porsche mechanic.
@georgeD33. there is a stack of receipts showing in the one picture, the top one being an express oil change. That said, no telling what/when/how many were done. Seems they may not have been done by a Porsche certified shop.
I wish it was standard procedure to include a DME report with all manual 911's.
