Up for auction is this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera S Cabriolet finished in Black. Configured at an original sticker price of over $100k, this first-generation 997 features a 6-speed manual gearbox, a black full leather interior, an exclusive Sport Shifter, the Sport Chrono Package Plus, and the Bose High-End Sound Package. Having spent most of its life in Florida, this 997 was eventually relocated to California in 2014 where it is currently resides to this day. With a recent service carried out by Porsche Palm Springs, this Carrera S Cabriolet is now being offered for auction by its seller in Woodland Hills while showing approximately 59k miles on the odometer.
The understated Black finish is noted to be in good overall condition, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. CARFAX shows damage to have occurred in 2009 to the front right corner and the seller reports that the front bumper was refinished as a result with no further repairs necessary. Factory features include a black power operated cabriolet top, red brake calipers, and 19” Carrera S wheels that are currently dressed in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
Upon entry, the driver is greeted by a premium black full leather interior with an exclusive Sport Shifter and power operated seats. Other features include the Bose High-End Sound Package and the Sport Chrono Package Plus which adds a stopwatch to the dashboard. The cabin is said to be in great orignal condition and all gauges and accessories are said to be working properly.
This 997.1 is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.8 L flat-six engine that generates 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a desirable 6-speed manual transmission providing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4.7 seconds and a top speed north of 180 MPH. The optional Sport Chrono Package Plus allows the driver to make adjustments to the engine and suspension characteristics to offer different levels of comfort and performance. CARFAX shows routine maintenance to have been addressed nearly every year and a recent recommended service was also completed at Porsche Palm Springs in 2021.

@steveb109 I don't have a record of the ims being performed only told that it was performed, it was in recently to palmsprings porsche and had everything performed that was recommended, the service records, video of top operating up and down as well as a cold start video should be posted soon.
