Featuring a sleek fastback design inspired by vintage Porsche racing cars, this Cayman comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic. Red painted brake calipers can be seen behind optional 18” Boxster S wheels with colored Porsche center crests and Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires from 2015 and 2016. The seller notes a crack in the windshield, several small hail dents, some road wear on the front bumper and hood, and a small scratch on the rear quarter panel. The cabin is appointed with Black standard leather and features heated front seats, the Power Seat Package, a Sport steering wheel, and black Porsche-branded floor mats. Amenities include the Bose Surround Sound System, self-dimming mirrors and rain sensors, the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, and a rear window wiper. The seller notes some wear on the driver’s side window switches, seat, and doorsill, as well as the center console. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to be working properly.
A naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine sends up to 295 HP and 251 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. An Active Brake Differential (ABD) comes standard along with a 4-piston monobloc brake system, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), variable-ratio power steering, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. The seller states that the engine block was replaced at 75k kilometers, the clutch and brakes were replaced at 125k kilometers, and the starter was replaced at 145k kilometers. No outstanding maintenance items have been reported.

I meant to add the DME report earlier. It is now in the photos and was taken just now (I have a Durametric). It shows only range 1 and 2 ignitions, which is as good as it gets. The first number is the quantity of ignitions and the second number is the operating time that it occurred. Near the bottom is the total operating hours, so deduct the number of hours of the occurrence from the total hours to find out how recently it happened.

@RJ80 yep. Everything works as it should. Cold AC, hot seat heaters, auto dimming mirrors, smooth shifts. It is perfect for a driver that doesn't want to worry about keeping it pristine. That was my dilemma when deciding if I should sell this one or my 911

Everything works? Air conditioning is cold, heater is warm? No clunks or rattles from suspension?
Previously I've been chasing pristine cars at higher prices, but I like that I could drive this one without worrying too much.
@RJ80 I have owned the car for a little over two years and throughout that time it has been registered in my name. Pcarmarket has taken a copy of my registration (we don't have "titles" in Canada, but a registration acts the same way) as proof of this.
I am the third Canadian owner and it was the first Canadian owner who had the engine block replaced. The first Canadian owner may have also been the last American owner, I'm not sure.
I do my own maintenance, so I have changed the oil annually (5000 km at the most). I do have a few small additional receipts from the last owner, but I think he also did his own oil changes.
I've used it only for summer drives, including two autocross days.
I did not have it bore scoped.
If you did fly in to pick it up I could certainly help with picking you up.
@bekks I'm thinking of doing a fly in/drive home since I'm in the northwest corner of the U.S.
A couple things I can't figure out from the information supplied: 1) Did you ever title/register this car in your name? You say the engine was replaced by a previous owner, but there are only two owners on the Carfax and the second one did the engine replacement. 2) I see zero evidence of regular oil changes since the new engine went in. Do you have any records or other evidence for those? 3)How has this car been used in your ownership and where did you service it? Was it ever re-bore scoped before your purchase?

I talked to an agent at the site I linked to and he said it should be easy. Just make sure to contact him (or whatever importer you choose) before arranging the trip as it takes a couple days to get the paperwork approved.
Added two new photos. One showing the sticker starting that the vehicle complies to US DOT requirements and one stating the emissions requirements are met. I'm still not sure these are necessary since it is a USDM car, but perhaps they are the proof of that claim. An importer might want to see these.

I took a quick look at importing a vehicle into the US and got a quote for $750 for them to do the paperwork. I suggest anyone interested to call an importer, so you're comfortable with the process.

@Beto8792 Double clutching - it's habit and a little smoother engagement. It's not necessary as the synchros will do their job.
Why do you press the clutch twice before shifting?

@bekks thank you! Even though the car is from the US, the odometer is in km and not miles and cannot be switched on the gauges via the onboard controls, correct?

@grant.ackney 29, 31, 32, 33 show the hail spots the best - that's all there is. It was valued at $1000 to repair, so it is quite light.
The block had bore scoring, as diagnosed by Porsche. Porsche replaced the block with a new one and split the cost three ways between the owner at the time, the local Porsche dealership, and Porsche Canada. I have the paper work for this.
In picture 29 would that be the typical size of the hail damage? And where are the most visible areas of this on the Car? Also, what's the story with the engine block replacement? Thanks for your time.
