The 5th generation of BMW’s legendary M5 performance sedan, the E60 is the only version to feature a naturally aspirated V10 engine. This 2007 example was ordered in Black Sapphire Metallic over a Black Merino leather interior and optioned with a 7-speed automated sequential manual gearbox, climate-controlled front seats, heads-up display, Comfort Access keyless entry, rear sunshades, and Brushed Aluminum Shadow interior trim. Originally delivered to Passport BMW of Suitland, Maryland, this M5 spent time in Pennsylvania and Illinois before being relocated to New York. Showing approximately 23k miles on the odometer, this 2007 M5 is now being offered at auction by its seller out of New Jersey.
The exterior is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic (475) with Shadowline high-gloss trim. Equipment includes model-specific front and rear bumper covers and side skirts, an integrated trunk lid spoiler, power-folding auto-dimming heated M mirrors, fender vents, xenon adaptive headlights with dynamic auto-leveling and washers, heated windshield washer jets, heated door locks, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and polished quad exhaust tips. The seller reports that paint protection film has been applied to the front bumper and shows some peeling below the driver’s side headlight, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The 19” Style 166 wheels are mounted with Toyo Proxes S1 tires showing date codes from 2015.

The interior features heated and ventilated 16-way power-adjustable multi-function front seats, and a rear bench seat upholstered in Black leather, with leather upholstery extending to the upper door panels, map pockets, seat backs, dashboard, and glovebox as part of the optional Full Leather package. Amenities include Brushed Aluminum Shadow interior trim, a power sliding sunroof, iDrive navigation, Comfort Access keyless entry, a heads-up display, Parking Distance Control (PDC), rear sunshades, a Professional DSP sound system, automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, an Alcantara headliner, and M5-branded door sill plates, instrumentation, and floormats.
The E60 M5 is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.0L S85 V10 engine rated at 500 HP and 384 lb.-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 7-speed automated manual sequential gearbox (SMG III) and a limited-slip differential. The M5 features the MDrive system, which allows the driver to optimize performance characteristics including throttle response, transmission speed, and suspension dampening via the M button located on the steering wheel. The CARFAX report shows a consistent history of dealership service since new, and the last recorded entry shows a maintenance inspection was performed by Habberstad BMW of Bay Shore, NY in December of 2018.

Hey, I have the same car, black on black.
Updated the rims and tires.
Updated the exhaust to a Stebro full system.
A great sound. I have just over 60,000 km.,
and have yet to change the rods.
Only item was the actuators.
A fantastic car.

@lennon997 oil., fluids whatever needs to be replace but not tires still have deep tread it's less than 5k miles on this tires, if new owner want can replace or keep on current tires. I drove car yesterday drives like new.
@sebaf1 Can you please elaborate on what service is currently being done? Is this an oil change? diff fluid? tires (which you noted are from 2015 and absolutely need to be replaced)?

@WOF73 Fake news. More like the vanos (same issue on e46 m3s with SMG) and the rod bearings at higher mileage. Not 23k.

@WOF73 yet again I still own a s85 6 speed m5 rod bearings and head gasket are fine and I’ve put 80k miles since new on it. And I owned a s85 m6 with the smg put 120k miles before selling it rod bearings and headgasket just fine. Really tired of these Internet myths. Another little fun fact I used to work for BMW NA in our PUMA system the rod bearing “disaster” impacted less than 1% of all s85 cars. So please stop scaring people.
@Devil_Dog_Ultra this is 2023 & that BMW was produced in 2007 (welcome to the future). Both the & rods the head gasket are common points of failure on these cars & are also commonly replaced either as a preventative step if someone wants to potentially start to make more power than the stock 500hp out of the v10.
@WOF73 in what world are you replacing a headgasket at 23k miles? You ment to put rod bearings? But even then that impacted less than1% of cars. I’ve driven over 200k miles on the s85 motor only thing replaced were throttle body actuators. (And service items)
