The finish is described to be well preserved, benefitting from a major 2-stage paint correction and a Feynland baked-on ceramic coating treatment in November of 2020. Clear protective film has been added to the splash guard areas front and rear, and the ceramic coating is backed by a 5-year warranty. The LS7 uses a dry-sump oiling system, titanium alloy connecting rods, and a lightweight magnesium alloy engine cradle. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transaxle with a transmission cooler and limited-slip differential. The Z06 comes standard with larger 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brakes as well as a stiffer suspension with larger anti-roll bars.
