Available for auction is this 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 finished in Victory Red over an Ebony leather interior. Introduced as the lightest Corvette in Chevrolet's model range, the C6-generation Z06 also featured a new hand-built LS7 V8 rated at over 500 HP, the most powerful naturally aspirated production engine made by General Motors up until 2021. This 6-speed 2007 example features the 2LZ Preferred Equipment Group, factory Speedline wheels, an upgraded air intake, and is now being offered for auction by its owner out of Massachusetts showing under 37k miles on the odometer.

This Z06 comes finished in Victory Red and features widened carbon fiber front fenders as well as fiberglass rear fenders with integrated brake cooling ducts. The finish is described to be well preserved, benefitting from a major 2-stage paint correction and a Feynland baked-on ceramic coating treatment in November of 2020. Clear protective film has been added to the splash guard areas front and rear, and the ceramic coating is backed by a 5-year warranty.  Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This Z06 rides on a set of 18"/19” OEM Speedline wheels finished in Competition Grey with Hankook tires.

The cabin is trimmed in Ebony leather and features a pair of adjustable sport bucket seats with perforated leather inserts and Z06 embroideries in the headrests. The 2LZ Preferred Equipment Group adds the Bose premium seven-speaker sound system, a power telescoping steering wheel, heated seats, steering wheel mounted audio controls, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and driver memory settings. An upgraded Pioneer touchscreen head unit has been installed and the cabin is said to have been meticulously cared for.

Power comes from a naturally aspirated LS7 7.0L V8 engine rated at 505 HP and 470 lb.-ft of torque. The LS7 uses a dry-sump oiling system, titanium alloy connecting rods, and a lightweight magnesium alloy engine cradle. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transaxle with a transmission cooler and limited-slip differential. The Z06 comes standard with larger 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brakes as well as a stiffer suspension with larger anti-roll bars. An upgraded K&N cold air intake system has been installed and standard routine maintenance is said to have been kept up to date. CARFAX shows rear differential service performed by Herb Connolly Chevrolet of Framingham Massachusetts in October of 2019.

This sale will include a set of three keys, the original owner's manuals, and a clean title (lien). Now is your chance to feel the power of an LS7 V8 through a 6-speed manual gearbox, do not let this beautiful 2007 Z06 pass you by.

@Moh1959 Mark, you speak the complete truth about your C6Z06. These cars are meant to be driven. Beyond that I add that there is no other car that comes close to delivering the performance and the reliability of the C6Z06. This is my second Z06, My current Z is a 2008 with almost 50K miles on it. It was bought new and was museum delivery. While not new, the C6Z06 will blow away the claimed competition.

@Z.06 You are correct, I am not the original owner. I have owned the vehicle for just over two years. That is why I had the Chevrolet dealership go through it. (A personal friend that owns 2 corvettes of his own.) Life happens and my free time is very limited these days. These cars are made to be driven. I do not want this vehicle to sit in my garage and not be owned by someone that will drive it and enjoy it. It truly is a joy to drive!

@Moh1959 Thanks for the straight answers Mark. From your comments I take it that you are not the original owner of this car. How long have you owned it? You are certainly correct about the controversy regarding the valves/valve guides on the LS7 engine, but experience has shown that some percentage of these engines have this problem whether they are modified or not.

DOT code indicates Dec. 2014. This vehicle has passed MA safety and emissions tests, which includes inspection of tires.

@Z.06 I was a member of a Z06 group on FB. There were many discussions regarding the valve issue from both sides on this and at times very heated. In response to your comment/question, to the best of my knowledge the valves have not been touched. If someone plans to modify the engine then they should consider this issue. I have thoroughly enjoyed this car the way it is and was built. The vehicle has not been tuned or modified in any way that would require the ECM to be flashed/re-flashed. After I purchased the vehicle I had a GM dealership service the vehicle. Since I had recently purchased the vehicle and I knew the owner of the dealership I asked them to go through the vehicle. Routine service was completed and no issues were noted with the vehicle. I will respond in a bit with the tire codes. Mark

Beautiful car. I might as be the one to ask whether the rocker arm needle bearing issue and the valve guide issues have been resolved on this car, and if so, by whom? This must be asked, since the failure to take care of these known problems will leave any buyer with the possibility of additional costs in the future. Nothing is said about detailed service records. Are these available? Has the ECM ever been reflashed by anyone other than a GM dealer? Also what are the date codes on those Hankook tires? If they are aged out (5 years), need to consider new tires in the purchase price.
