Introduced in 2004, the Ferrari F430 was a significant evolution of Ferrari's flagship V8 supercar, boasting technological advancements including the E-Diff active differential and a new Manettino steering wheel-mounted control knob. This 2007 Berlinetta example comes finished in Grigio Silverstone over black leather upholstery and features Daytona-style seats, ball-polished Challenge wheels, yellow-finished brake calipers, Scuderia fender shields, a carbon fiber rear grille, an F1 6-speed automated manual transmission, and more. Showing just under 10k miles on the odometer, this F430 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.

The Pininfarina-designed aluminum bodywork was adapted from the preceding 360 Modena and incorporated a vented rear engine lid and taillights inspired by the Ferrari Enzo. The mid-mounted V8 can be seen beneath its glass cover with twin intake tunnels in a red crackle finish. This F430 comes finished in Grigio Silverstone complemented with optional, yellow-finished brake calipers set beneath 19” ball-polished Challenge alloy wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires from 2015. Additional details include Scuderia fender shields and a rear grille panel in carbon fiber. The seller adds that paint protection film has been applied along with a full Ceramic Pro coating. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin presents black leather upholstery with optional power-operated Daytona-style seats, Daytona-style rear seats, a leather headliner, special stitching, and a colored steering wheel. Equipment includes carbon fiber trim, a perforated leather-wrapped steering wheel featuring push-button ignition and a Manettino knob, aluminum paddle shifts, as well as a HiFi high-powered sound system with subwoofer, a fire extinguisher, and drilled aluminum pedals. Amenities include power windows, heated exterior mirrors, and automatic climate control. An aftermarket Escort Passport radar detector has been added.

The F430 is powered by a 4.3L quad-cam 32-valve flat-plane crank V8 engine, which was factory-rated at 483 HP and 343 lb.-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 6-speed F1 automated manual gearbox and an E-Diff active limited-slip differential. This allows the F430 to reach 60 MPH from a standstill in as little as 3.6 seconds with a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. The Manettino switch mounted on the steering wheel allows drivers to change the suspension settings, transmission characteristics, throttle response, traction control, and differential settings while underway. The seller adds that the engine motor mounts were replaced in 2013 by an authorized Ferrari dealer, annual fluid changes and inspections have been carried out, and all Ferrari recalls are up to date.

This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, and a toolkit.

@Jeremy Unfortunately, I've been unable to return to my office adn scan all of the service tickets. There have been no "major services' needed as the car has less than 10k miles. The last service was performed by my race shop, TKX Performance, last month which which included oil & filter change, brake fluid flush, changed transmission fluid, changed the engine coolant, replaced cabin air filter, replaced engine air filter, checked brake pads and rotors,

  • Jeremy (registered bidder) 6 months, 4 weeksago

@seller were you able to locate / are you able to post service history? When was the last major completed and by who?

@RAV1 In response to you're question regarding the clutch, I had the car scanned this morning. The clutch is 21.780% worn. Remaining life would calculate at 78.22%.

  • PrimeTime116 (seller) 7 monthsago

@s54gasm Thank you! The entire hood, front bumper cover, and half of the front fenders have PPF. The higher reading on the hood is due to the PPF. The higher reading on the driver's door was a surprise to me as well. I had my local shop scan the entire door and they determined that there's no filler material (bondo, plastic, etc.) on the door, but that the pain is consistently thicker than the other body panels. It "appears" that the driver's door (only) may have been repainted prior to me taking possession. My shop said this could have been done even before the original owner took possession. Whether it was a paint blemish (they said Ferrari's factory paint is generally poor) or a subsequent scratch, I honestly don't know.

  • s54gasm (registered bidder) 7 monthsago

Amazing spec on this 430! Can you explain the higher paint meter readings on the hood and driver door? Also, which sections on the car are covered in PPF?

  • PrimeTime116 (seller) 7 monthsago

@ilikecarstoomuch The build picture book is a bonus to the person who wins the bid for the car. I am neither auctioning the book or interested in providing any pictures of pictures. If you’re interested in the car and all that comes with it, place a bid accordingly.

  • ilikecarstoomuch (registered bidder) 7 monthsago

Is it possible to see some of the photos you have of the build? Specifically the rear and engine hatch - thanks

  • PrimeTime116 (seller) 7 monthsago

@Intermeccanica I have two keys along with all of the original factory documentation and the build picture book.

  • Intermeccanica (registered bidder) 7 monthsago

How many keys are included? I only ask because the last Ferrari I bought only had one and it cost me ~$1,200 and quite a bit of paperwork to have another one made by the factory.

Never mind a. Found your response in junk folder. All good, thanks.

  • Vitesse1 (registered bidder) 7 monthsago

@primetime…I sent you a pm re: doing an inspection. Haven’t heard back. Did you receive it?

  • RAV1 7 monthsago

Thank you. Manual driving provides longest clutch life on F1s.

Good luck with your auction. This coupe might cause me to abandon the spider idea as I already have a 911s cabriolet!

  • PrimeTime116 (seller) 7 monthsago

    @RAV1 Manual all the time!

No window sticker, but I will post the bill of sale from the dealer to the original owner.

    Good luck with the Spider!

  • RAV1 7 monthsago

    Thank you.

Do you drive mostly in full auto mode or manual?

Is the window sticker available? Your dealer can provide a copy using the vin as I am sure you know.

    Thanks

  • PrimeTime116 (seller) 7 monthsago

@RAV1 It absolutely is more beautiful in person and in the sun which we did not have the day the pictures were taken.

I am the second owner. The original owner kept it for less than 2 years and only drove it 1,053 miles before I bought it.

Have not had the remaining clutch life determined, but it feels as good as the day I bought it. I know not to drag the clutch when starting off (driving style).

  • RAV1 7 monthsago

Beautiful car. Silverstone looks great here but in person the color is even more striking.

Is this a one owner car?

Would you have the window sticker that you can post?

The clutch life on the F1s can vary significantly depending on driving style (full automatic or manual) regardless of mileage. Has the remaining clutch life been determined by an authorized Ferrari dealer and if so will you share that information as clutch replacement on an F1 has been quoted to me ( I am shopping for an F430 Spider currently) at $10k to $12k.

  • PrimeTime116 (seller) 7 monthsago

@ilikecarstoomuch Yes, everything is original except the engine mounts which were replaced in 2013 by Ferrari.

does the car have original fuel pumps and exhaust manifolds? Thank you

  • PrimeTime116 (seller) 7 monthsago

@Vitesse1 In the meanwhile, I can tell you that there have been no repair services needed other than re-securing the driver's door weatherstrip, tightening a loose side view mirror, and replacing the engine mounts (one was compromised) all of which was completed by Ferrari service.

  • PrimeTime116 (seller) 7 monthsago

@Vitesse1 Sure, I can do that on Monday after I scan all the doc's in my office.

  • Vitesse1 (registered bidder) 7 monthsago

Can you post copies of maintenance and/or repair receipts please?

  • PrimeTime116 (seller) 7 monthsago

@Silver930 It truly is! I've received more compliments on the color and overall look of this car than any other I've owned. The polished Challenge wheels in front of the yellow brake calipers and coordinating yellow Scuderia badges on the front fenders really pop with the medium gray metallic paint! Its a head-turner for sure.

  • Silver930 (registered bidder) 7 monthsago

That is a cool color on a 430.
