We are pleased to present this 2007 Honda S2000 AP2 finished in Silverstone Metallic over black leather. Introduced in 2004 with major updates, the second generation of Honda’s advanced S2000 sports car was given the chassis designation of AP2 and featured new front and rear bumpers, carbon fiber gearbox synchronizers, retuned suspension, and a larger 2.2L engine. A beautifully preserved example, this 2007 S2000 has been cared for by the original owner from new and while serviced annually by a local Honda dealer. Showing just over 22k miles on the odometer, this S2000 AP2 is being offered for auction by its seller out of Illinois.
This AP2 was ordered in Silverstone Metallic with a black convertible soft top and glass rear window. Changes for the AP2 generation include revised front and rear bumpers, new LED taillights, redesigned headlight assemblies, and oval-shaped exhaust tips. As depicted in the photo gallery, some scuff marks are present on the lower front bumper as well as a small scratch on the rear bumper. A clean CARFAX report is also provided in the gallery. This S2000 rides on silver 17″ 10-spoke AP2 V2 alloy wheels that were mounted with new Bridgestone tires within the last 1k miles.
The cabin is trimmed in black leather and the condition is said to reflect the car’s low mileage. Standard features include push-button ignition, a 4-speaker sound system with an AM/FM/CD concealed stereo, air conditioning, power windows and locks, cruise control, and a front center console. The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel sits ahead of a digital speedometer, a digital bar-style tachometer with an 8k-RPM redline, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. All gauges and accessories are reported to be fully functional including the air conditioning.
The AP2 generation S2000 is equipped with the F22C1 DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine. An enlarged version of the original S2000’s F20C engine, the 2.2L F22C1 carried over V-TEC variable valve timing technology and offers an output of up to 240 HP and 162 lb.-ft of torque. This remarkable 4-cylinder held the record for the highest horsepower output per liter for a naturally aspirated production engine up until 2009 when the Ferrari 458 Italia was debuted. Compared with the original S2000, the AP2 also received an updated 6-speed manual gearbox with modified gear ratios and upgraded carbon fiber synchronizer rings. Other features include a limited-slip differential, variable-assist rack and pinion steering, and four-wheel double-wishbone independent suspension. This S2000 has been serviced annually by Muller Honda of Illinois, the original selling Honda dealership.

- we have sent in paint gauge photos and @PCARMARKET has uploaded them! There is no paint fade found on the car and all panels match in color, metallic, and all. The largest imperfection is the few scuffs on the front bumper from parking block / driveway entries. Weather is not on our side, so there will be an indoor walkaround video submitted tonight as well.
