A hardcore track-focused model based on the Series 2 Lotus Elise, the Lotus Exige S was launched in North America for the 2007 model year featuring a supercharged Toyota 1.8-liter engine. This example comes finished in Storm Titanium Metallic and features an extensive list of upgrades and modifications including a custom-molded widebody, custom Work Meister wheels, an adjustable APR carbon fiber rear wing, Lotus Sport sway bars, carbon fiber Tillet bucket seats, and a BOE Racing 300 performance kit including an upgraded supercharger pulley, fuel injectors, an ECU tune, ARP head hardware, a lightweight stainless-steel exhaust, a Stage 3 clutch, a Nitron coilover suspension, DBA brake rotors, and much more.  This Lotus is now being offered for auction out of New York with approximately 39k miles on the odometer.

Compared to the Series II Elise, the Exige model features a vented engine cover and a hardtop roof with an air scoop. This example has been fitted with custom-molded seamless widebody fenders and refinished in its factory color of Storm Titanium Metallic. Other modifications include an adjustable APR carbon fiber rear wing, carbon fiber hood vents, carbon fiber side intake scoops, a BOE clam hinge kit, a BOE quick-release rear diffuser, a front light bar, and an HID headlight conversion kit. The car rides on custom 16" Work Meister M1 three-piece wheels with gold-plated hardware. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Inside, this Lotus features a lightweight cockpit upgraded with Tillet B5 carbon fiber bucket seats on adjustable BOE seat rails as well as a Sabelt three-spoke Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with a quick-release hub. Other accessories include power windows, air conditioning, an engine start button, a harness bar, a billet shift knob, an aftermarket Pioneer head unit, and a custom switch that operates the front light bar.

The Exige S is powered by a supercharged and intercooled 1.8-liter Toyota 2ZZ-GE inline-four DOHC engine with VVTL-i variable valve timing and lift intelligence. In stock form, the engine delivers up to 218 HP and 159 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed close-ratio manual gearbox. This Lotus has been upgraded with a BOW Racing 300 performance kit including a modified supercharger puller, 660cc fuel injectors, an upgraded ECU, a lightweight stainless-steel exhaust with a high-flow catalytic converter, an ITG cold ram air intake system, a Setrab oil cooler, a high-capacity BOE baffled oil pan, ARP head hardware, Sector 111 motor mounts, a Moroso coolant expansion tank, a Stage 3 clutch, a Nitron coilover suspension, and upgraded DBA brake rotors with Carbone Lorraine pads. Other upgrades include a performance radiator with dual SPAL fans, Sector 111 camber arms and shims, a Lotus Sport sway bar setup, and BOE Fabrication toe end links. Recent service is said to include an oil change, new brake fluid, a coolant flush, and replacement of the spark plugs and coil packs.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, a binder of records, and a clean title.
