Now available for auction is this 2007 Porsche 997 Carrera S Coupe finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over a Stone Grey interior. At an original sticker price of over $93k, this 2007 example comes equipped with heated power-operated seats, a Tiptronic S automatic transmission, the Bose High-End Sound Package, Sport Chrono Package Plus, and Exclusive stainless steel exhaust pipes. An extensive service has been carried out in preparation for sale including the replacements of all hoses, an oil change, new spark plugs, and brakes. Showing just over 136k miles on the odometer, this Carrera S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Georgia.
This Carrera S comes finished in Midnight Blue Metallic and features Exclusive stainless steel exhaust pipes. The seller notes a few minor cosmetic imperfections throughout the exterior as well as a spot of thinning clear coat on the roof, detailed images are provided in the gallery. The CARFAX report also shows minor damage to have occurred to the left-front end in 2016. This Carrera rides on a set of 19” Carrera S wheels which feature colored Porsche center crests and Pirelli P Zero tires dated from 2017-2018

This example has also been optioned with the Sport Chrono Package Plus which enables variable performance and PASM suspension settings. Is there some sort of paint coating on the exterior surface?
. Close up views just go screwey.
If not several panels indicate repaint.
@aboyandhisdog I've got zero clue. It's hard to say what happened back in 2007....could have for any number of reasons
She's a beauty, Griehl! I like to see a car that gets driven as evidenced by the second owner at 12k/year. Couldn't help but notice the odd ownership history by the first owner. I'm guessing he must have had some warranty issue in the first few months and then just gave up? Any ideas?
Hello ladies and gents and welcome to my latest auction!!!
This 997 has been checked and PPI'ed twice within the last 3k miles. The first PPI was done by the person I bought the vehicle from. He spent $6,000 in maintenance in having new rear tires, plugs, rear pads and rotors, air filter, oil change and then he had every hose on the vehicle replaced as strictly preventative maintenance. When I got the 997 I changed the oil due to habit and enjoyed her for a bit. When I deemed it time to sell I took it in and had it PPI'ed again (did not need anything) but I had the cyl's scoped (no bore score present) and I had compression taken simply for piece of mind for the buyer and as you can see it passed with flying colors.
I am a 'car guy' and a Porsche enthusiasts and take what I do very seriously. This is a very nice example of a 997s that is not silver or black and will bring a buyer many smiles per gallon!!!!
