Up for auction is this 2007 Porsche 997 Carrera S Coupe finished in Basalt Black Metallic over a black interior with supple leather seats. This 2007 example features a desirable 6-speed manual transmission as well as Exclusive factory options including Porsche crested headrests, 5mm wheel spacers, and the Aerokit Package (XAA). The car was bought new in 2007 and registered in Winchester, Massachusetts where the first owner had the car for 12 years and 6 months. In late 2019, the car was acquired by Audi Burlington in Massachusetts and offered for sale with 19,480 miles. The second owner kept the car for a little less than two years before recently being acquired by the selling dealer at 21,318 miles. This nicely optioned 6-speed Carrera S is now being offered for auction out of Massachusetts while showing approximately 21k miles on the odometer.
This Coupe is finished in Basalt Black Metallic and was factory equipped with the Aerokit Package (XAA) at an additional cost of $6,990 which includes a front spoiler and GT3-style rear wing. The exterior is described to have been well kept and the seller notes the car to have been recently polished. CARFAX shows a rear-end collision to have occurred in 2008 and the seller reports the left rear quarter panel to have been refinished as a result. These wheels feature colored Porsche center crests and come dressed in Kumho Ecsta PS91 tires dated from 2018 in front and 2019 in the rear.
Inside, you will find a black interior with optional supple leather seats, a 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel in leather, and Exclusive Porsche crested headrests. The driver is also supplied with heated front seats, the Power Seat Package, and an upgraded Pioneer Mixtrax Bluetooth head unit with reversing camera. Minimal wear is noted on the seat bolsters and the seller reports all gauges and accessories to be working properly.
This first-generation 997 Carrera S is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8L flat-six engine that sends up to 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Standard performance features of the Carrera S include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and red-painted 4-piston aluminum monobloc brakes derived from the Turbo model. The seller reports maintenance to have kept up to date and CARFAX shows a recommended service carried out in 2020 at 20,414 miles including a wheel alignment and brake fluid flush.

@SpeedJunky The shifter boot needed to be repositioned, we have since clipped it back in place. Regarding the side panel, the original owner had a cell phone mount that was on the side of the center stack and prior to our purchase it was removed and covered.

What is going on with the shifter and the right side center stack side panel? Shift knob looks like it's either not seated all the way or the boot has been pulled down. Side center stack panel has some unusual cut out that was covered.

We will reach out to the Porsche store (Porsche of Burlington) for any electronic records on file. South Shore Motor Werks serviced at 20k miles. Any maintenance records available. I see zero record of oil changes. Pretty important data element.
