Now available for auction is this 2007 Porsche 997 Turbo Coupe finished in Black. Equipped with a 3.6L twin-turbocharged Mezger engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, this 2007 example model represents one of the most sought-after 911 Turbos of the modern era.  Factory options include a limited-slip differential, the Sport Chrono Package Turbo, Parking Assist System, and a premium Brown Natural Leather interior with an exclusive thickened steering wheel and supple leather seats.  This Turbo had been under the care of its original owner up until 2018 while always receiving proper routine maintenance. It was acquired by the second owner in 2018 and has since undergone a major 20k-mile service along with replacements of the water pump and coolant lines.  Currently showing just over 26k miles on the odometer, this nicely appointed 997 Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.

This Coupe is finished in Black (741) and features wide bodywork, model-specific bumpers, integrated side air intakes, and a speed-activated hydraulic rear spoiler. The front end has been preserved under clear paint protection film and a full ceramic coating was applied in 2018.  Protective grilles have also been installed over the front air intakes. Few imperfections are noted throughout the exterior and are said to be limited to the clear paint protection film on the front and the clear stone guards over the rear fenders, detailed images are available in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.  The factory 19” Turbo wheels have been recently dressed in a set of new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

The interior is upholstered in Brown Natural Leather with optional supple leather seats. The front seats are power-adjustable and offer heating as well as driver position memory. The optional thickened leather steering wheel sits ahead of a central tachometer with a 6,600 RPM redline, a 225-MPH speedometer, and gauges for oil temperature, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The Sport Chrono Package Turbo adds a center dash-mounted stopwatch. Other features include automatic climate control, a Porsche Communication Management system with navigation, a Bose surround sound system, Parking Assist, a rear window wiper, and an Exclusive footrest in aluminum.

Tracing its roots back to the GT1 Le Mans race car, the twin-turbocharged 3.6L Mezger flat-six was factory rated at 480 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque. The optional Sport Chrono Package allows the 997 Turbo to overboost for up to ten seconds, increasing peak torque to 505 lb.-ft over a certain RPM range.  Power is sent to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission paired with an electrically controlled center differential and Porsche Traction Management. This Turbo also features an optional rear limited-slip differential.  Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in as little as 3.7 seconds with a top speed over 190 MPH. Proper maintenance was observed under the original ownership including a 10k-mile service completed by Porsche of Naples in 2009, and replacements of the radiator, alternator, and starter motor in 2015 at 12k miles.  A major 20k-mile service was also completed in 2018 as well as the installation of a new water pump, gaskets, and coolant lines in 2019 at 19,128 miles.
