Up for auction is this 2007 Porsche 997 Turbo finished in Carrara White over a Terracotta Special Leather interior. Representing the launch model year of the 997 Turbo, this 2007 example came optioned with a 6-speed manual transmission, limited-slip differential, the Sport Chrono Package, and Sport Seats with Porsche crested headrests. It has also been customized with a full TechArt body kit, Rennen forged wheels, headers, upgraded intercoolers, and an adjustable air ride suspension. This eye-catching 997 Turbo custom has been recently serviced and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Colorado with just under 24k miles showing on the odometer.
This Turbo came finished in nonmetallic Carrara White and has been fitted with a full TechArt body kit including flared rocker panels, side skirts, a modified rear bumper, and a revised front fascia with a GT3-style nose vent and integrated LED daytime running lights. Aftermarket tinted LED taillights have also been installed along with a set of 20” Rennen forged wheels in a bronze finish with Toyo Proxes T1 Sport tires. The exterior benefits from a recent paint correction and ceramic coating treatment, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, this Turbo features a rare Terracotta Special Leather interior with a black Alcantara headliner and Sport Seats featuring Porsche crested headrests. Other factory options include a rear window wiper, heated front seats, a sunroof, and Sport Chrono stopwatch dial mounted on the center dashboard. Modifications include a set of aluminum Rennline pedal covers, Rennline track mats, a Rennline magnetic phone mount, and an aftermarket aluminum shift knob. The reserve tank and compressor for the air ride suspension system are mounted in the front trunk and some signs of wear are present on the driver's seat.
Equipped with a 3.6L twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine, this 997 Turbo offers an output of up to 480 HP and 660 lb.-ft of torque stock. Power is distributed to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission with a factory optioned limited-slip differential. Performance upgrades include a cold air intake, larger intercoolers, exhaust headers, and Switzer charge pipes. The AccuAir S3 air ride suspension features Airlift struts and allows the driver to easily adjust the vehicle’s ride height from a controller mounted in the cabin. Recent service items are said to include a four-wheel alignment, replacement of a power steering line, a new serpentine belt, new CV boots, and an oil change. The vehicle passed a Colorado emissions inspection in March of 2021 and CARFAX shows the flywheel to have been serviced in 2012 at 11,974 miles.

Can someone clarify why the DME report states 71,268km total distance? That would equate to roughly 44,500 miles. Doing the average speed math from 44,500 is roughly 25mi per engine hour vs the listed 23, 943 giving 13.5 mi per engine hr. These numbers don't exactly make sense unless the car idled a lot (stuck in traffic), given the number of over-revs.

@Tturbo997 that is good to know. If the car has run without issues for the last 200 hours then some would say you’re good to go.
@Mercyhealth As for range 5 and 6 I did have couple pulls with a buddy’s GTR last summer. It was my first taste of the 997 Turbo. Besides that I don't drive this car aggressively.

@BarryLe Please see the link below. This one has multiple ignitions in the 5 and 6 ranges so it’s been driven hard sorry to say. Though a bit odd that all of the high range ignitions happened at the same relative time. Total hours of operation 1767. Last high range ignitions at 1543. Meaning 200 plus hours of running time has occurred since the car was thrashed. You be the judge.

@Georgeyd my recommendation to you is to not bid too high then. The soul of this car is the Mezger Turbo and if it’s intact you won’t be looking at the exterior when you’re going zero to whatever. This 911 variant if all systems are nominal is so valuable and important in Porsche history. This car when it came out of the factory was and remains the king of all Carrera lines. A beast when needed but can be a gentle city crawler.

@Georgeyd Thanks for the input. I totally understand most people prefer stock over modded Porsches. This car is not like any other Porsche 997 Turbo you’ll see on the road. I’m hoping to find the right owner that will appreciate this unique combo. Reserve price is set to what I feel is fair in regards to the car’s worth. And also what I’m willing to let the car go for.

@tgreenfield22 I purchased the car from EuroCar OC in 2018 at around 17k miles. In regards to many ownerships in CARFAX report, this was due to auto auctions and change of hands in dealership. My best guess for real ownership is owner 2, 3, 5, 7 and of course 9.
Can you explain this history on the car with regard to having 9 owners?

997.1 turbo king of kings! With 9 previous owners I think it would be prudent to get the DME because someone will ask for it. I owned one in the past but sold it because it was too much power for me. Most will say give me give me with the Mezger. And I can confirm that this car delivers as much as you will ever need.
