Finished in Black over matching full leather upholstery, this 2007 Porsche 997 Turbo was originally configured at an MSRP of over $129k including a Tiptronic S transmission, the Sport Chrono Package Turbo, Adaptive Sports Seats, and a leather steering wheel. Having extensive several modifications at a cost of approximately $45k, this Turbo features billet VTG hybrid turbochargers, a Cargraphic exhaust, Forge Motorsport intercoolers, an IPD plenum, H&R sway bars, a ByDesign engine tune, pinned coolant pipes, and more. It was imported from the U.S. to Canada upon the seller’s acquisition in 2020 and is now being offered for auction with just under 110k kilometers (approximately 68k miles) on the odometer.

The 997 Turbo benefits from more aggressive bodywork including wider fenders, integrated side air intakes, and unique bumpers compared to the standard Carrera. Finished in Black, this example rides on factory 19" 911 Turbo wheels. The seller notes that tinted taillights have been installed along with a mesh front grille. The hood has reportedly been refinished and the rear bumper shows some discoloration. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Inside, the driver is situated in Black full leather upholstery featuring optional matching floor mats, a leather steering wheel, Adaptive Sports Seats, and the Sport Chrono Package Turbo which adds a stopwatch dial atop the dashboard. The seller has fitted an aftermarket Pioneer 4500 NEX head unit with front and rear parking cameras and Apple CarPlay. Slight wear is noted on the driver’s side door panel.

Powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine that produced up to 480 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque stock, this 997 is equipped with an optional 5-speed Tiptronic S transmission sending power to all four wheels. Modifications include billet VTG hybrid turbochargers, ceramic-coated high-flow headers, a Cargraphic exhaust with chrome tips, upgraded diverter valves, Forge Motorsport intercoolers with Forge silicone inlet hoses, an IPD plenum, Y-pipe, and air intake, upgraded H&R sway bars, drop links and lowering springs, a ByDesign custom tune, and pinned coolant pipes.

This sale will include a clean title, the owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, a Cobb Accessport with Stage 1, 2, and custom ByDesign Stage 4 tunes, and the OEM exhaust with tips, headers, the original infotainment system, Y-pipe, and air intake.

It was going to be a total of 21.5% tax for me once I got it all figured out.

  • rafi12345 (seller) 3 months, 1 weekago

@KayaknFly Driving it would save the shipping for sure, no idea about the taxes. Not sure if it makes a difference considering its originally a US vehicle.
    Thank you.

    Thank you for the uploads.
I was looking into just driving to you and picking it up. I’m shocked at how many places you have to pay taxes to (and the %).
    Very nice car.

    Thank you

@KayaknFly Hi KayaknFly , the pics are a bit confusing, when the pics were uploaded they were done in improper sequence. The top was just an older pic , the bottom pic is the true pic after the headers and turbos were installed.
I have records of everything , its quiet extensive. Will try and upload as many as I can , the carfax also shows oil changes etc.. and more detailed after 2020 once arrived in Canada.
I uploaded the last US invoice.

  • KayaknFly (registered bidder) 3 months, 1 weekago

Your inspection in 2020 would be a great thing to upload.

  • KayaknFly (registered bidder) 3 months, 1 weekago

    @rafi12345
The underside pictures are a bit confusing. Some show stock headers and looks like stock turbos.
Other ones show aftermarket headers. Looks like 1 pic shows the new intercooler tubing and the turbo.
Do you have documents or anything else to truly show everything that was done to the car?
Also any other history on the car other the your brakes?
IE Tiptronic fluid change, oil change, AWD controller oil change, front dif change, spark plug change etc?
    Thank you.
I’m in Detroit so not too far from you.

  • rafi12345 (seller) 3 months, 1 weekago

Prior to importing I had a major inspection that included the brake change, front shocks, engine leak down test & borescope inspection etc.. this was all done at 61,772 miles/ 98,835 KM
Let me know if would like me to upload a copy of the invoice.

The front and rear brakes were changed at 61,772 miles/98,835 KM , less than 7000 miles/10,000 KM.
    Service all up to date.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

@wthies Hello, just uploaded 2 images.

  • wthies (registered bidder) 3 months, 1 weekago

Seller, can you locate and provide a photo of the NHTSA/DOT sticker? Should be towards the bottom of the driver door

  • rafi12345 (seller) 3 months, 1 weekago

@sprucepine54 I didn't think it would be difficult as both countries pretty much have the same regulations. The only requirement needed for Canada was to activate the daytime running lights.

  • sprucepine54 (registered bidder) 3 months, 1 weekago

Importing from Canada is very simple. In NC it did take several months to obtain a title

    Hello,
Not sure of the process but I can tell you it was quite simple importing to Canada. I had to declare and register at the border and of course pay some taxes.
My US broker doesn't handle vehicles but told me to contact Can-Am Auto Importers, they will be able to answer your questions, they are located just outside of Buffalo,NY.
If you need more information on Can-Am Auto you can direct message me.

  • Cander25 (registered bidder) 3 months, 1 weekago

Since this was originally a US car imported into Canada, what would the process be to get it back into the US? Any specific imports paperwork, duties, or titling hurdles to overcome?
