Up for auction is this 2007 Porsche 997 Turbo 6-Speed finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a black full leather interior. Having commanded an original sticker price of over $137k, this Turbo has been optioned with extensive carbon-fiber interior trim, Adaptive Sport Seats, and the Sport Chrono Package. This example has also been upgraded with an FVD exhaust and aftermarket Fuchs-inspired wheels. Sought after for its legendary Mezger engine and 6-speed manual transmission, this 997 Turbo was previously sold as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle and is now being listed by its seller in Missouri while showing approximately 39k miles on the odometer.
The Arctic Silver Metallic paint is said to have been well preserved with clear paint protection film applied over the front bumper and halfway up the hood and front fenders (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). Removable vinyl Porsche side graphics have been installed along with aftermarket Fuchs-inspired deep-dish wheels that feature gloss-black painted centers and polished barrels. The car currently rides on healthy Michelin Pilot Sort tires.
Inside, you will find a black full leather interior that is said to be in very nice overall condition except for some minor wear on the driver’s seat bolster and some degradation on the climate control buttons. Highlights include heated Adaptive Sport Seats with crested headrests and factory carbon fiber trim on the door finishers, rear center console, switch panel, and multifunction steering wheel. Other exclusive features include a telephone module, extended navigation module, 6-disc CD autochanger, a Sport Shifter, and silver seatbelts. An integrated K40 radar detector and laser jammer have been installed and the seller confirms all gauges and accessories to be fully functional.
One of the most celebrated engine designs in Porsche’s history, this first-generation 997 Turbo is equipped with a coveted twin-turbocharged 3.6 L flat-six Mezger engine which is paired with a preferable 6-speed manual transmission. 480 HP stock is disturbed among all four wheels allowing this Turbo to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3.7 seconds while maxing out at a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. An upgraded FVD exhaust system has also been installed providing for an increase in horsepower as well as enhanced sound. Under the care of its most recent owner who had the car since 2014, this Turbo has been diligently maintained with all scheduled service carried out through an authorized Porsche dealership. This car is also said to have undergone a Porsche Certified Pre-Owned service and inspection prior to the last owner’s purchase.

@sham5430 1 and 2 - Possible leak) Our service shop does not have time to get the car in for a PPI/inspection today in order to check on this. However, all bids can be contingent upon a PPI from a store of the customers choosing.
3 - DME Report) Reid Vann, the service shop that specializes particularly in Porsche and did the DME report, said that there are absolutely no concerns with these numbers. Range 2 is >7000 and <7200
4 - Coolant Lines) We do not have records of the coolant lines being replaced so we do not want to guarantee it. If it is this common of an issue, one would assume the factory Porsche service shop would have fixed it or deemed it unnecessary in there CPO process. Not only has the car been serviced religously by Porsche, it has been done by multiple different stores. This is reason enough for us to believe it is not an issue and not "weird"
5 - Rock Chips?) Yes, the owner did drive his car. It is by far one of the best modern driving experiences available. I can not fault him there. Regardless, the rock chips are in the clear bra, not the paint. As we said earlier, we recommend a new clear bra be installed due to age but it has done its job very well of protecting the paint.
the cost of clear bra for the entire front clip, no seams shown, can be done for $1800. This includes removal of the old bra. If you would like half of the front clip done as it currently is, the cost will be less.
6) As for the number of owners, it is a 13-year-old car. We typically see these cars being traded every 6 months to 2 years. A new owner every two years is not something to be concerned about. I suggest you check the carfax on other available cars and you will find the same number if not more.

I love this car and have had my eye on getting a 997.1 for a while. It is nice to see a decent amount of service records on here. Obviously love 6-speed but I have some questions / concerns:
1) There seems to be some sort of oil leak in picture 97
2) Why is the right side of the car wet in the undercarriage picture 101?
3) I may be wrong, but DME of 11,288 in ignition 1, and 2099 in ignition 2 sounds pretty high
4) Coolant lines not pinned on this model after 40k miles and being under CPO when it is clearly a known issue is weird
5) I see the clear bra on the car, but the front bumper is fairly chipped up, especially that scratch on the left side of the grill. I guess the car was driven a bit before the bra was put on
6) Six owners is a bit off putting for me personally
Regardless, this is after all a 911 Turbo in manual with the last Mezger engine and overall a beautiful car. Good luck to the seller and buyer!

@jaynar Just spoke to the consignor, he purchased the car CPO in 2014 with the exhaust already on it. When a check engine light came on, Plaza Porsche informed him the car has high flow 200 cell aftermarket cats. This did not void CPO and they told him he could install new O2 sensors, or replace them with factory cats. He replaced the O2 sensors and has not had a check engine light since.
As for the coolant lines, this is not something he had completed during his ownership, but possibly the owner prior. The current consignor has always gone with factory Porsche recommended maintenance and service, and this was never brought up to him.

@panton I have not had any leaks on the floor and didn’t wipe it down before photos but I do see what you’re saying. I will go in tomorrow and check closer to see what it could be. I’ll also check if the shop can take off the trays this Friday or Monday.
@RPExotics Thanks for posting. In the one photo the right side of the under carriage appears shiny as if oil was wiped off it. Any ideas what it is?

As for PPF, there is clear bra on the front bumper, rear rocker panels, and half of the front fenders and hood. The clear bra that is on the car is old and does not look particularly nice. However, it has done a fantastic job of protecting the car from rock chips. We can remove this clear bra for the next buyer and have new film installed. I will get a price on this tomorrow.
