@Quackbury LRP was the home track. I am trying to get some video up. The Motor was out of a 2007 car as well. Not a rebuild. The motor was inspected when sourced and then installed. The motor is strong. We can do a PPI for anyone interested.

  • Quackbury 1 month, 1 weekago

Given the location, I'm guessing Lime Rock was the home track, so I gotta ask: decibel levels? Representative lap times? Is the replacement engine also a 2007? Stock or a bespoke build by Jake Raby or the like? Nikasil liners? Has it been bore scoped? GLWA!

    @PorscheFanBoy working on those now!

  • PorscheFanBoy (registered bidder) 1 month, 1 weekago

A startup or driving videos? The other user’s suggestion of a YouTube track day video is great too. Thank you

  • HK_Motorcars (seller) 1 month, 1 weekago

@GetBoosted The car would run I class in PCA and would run Gtb1 as well. The clutch was done when the 10k mile used motor was installed. It’s has about 20 hours on it since it was installed. The belts and fire suppression are expired for PCA but fine for track day use.

  • HK_Motorcars (seller) 1 month, 1 weekago

@GT3-guy thanks for the post. This is correct.

  • Alpinist (registered bidder) 1 month, 1 weekago

@HK_Motorcars Can you be more specific?

  • GT3-guy 1 month, 1 weekago

@Alpinist I’m not the seller… but he does say the original 3.4 was replaced with another 3.4 so I’m guessing it was another rebuild or he found a replacement motor.. either way, unless you have a reason to replace an IMS on a 05.5-2008 M97 motor (911/CS-BS) because it’s leaking or exploded there is no reason to rebuild

  • Alpinist (registered bidder) 1 month, 1 weekago

@GT3-guy So, has it been replaced?

  • GT3-guy 1 month, 1 weekago

@Alpinist you can’t on M97.1 motors.. fixed IMS. If it needs replacement it’s a full motor tear down

  • Hagarr 1 month, 1 weekago

Looks like a solid car! Since you have the aim system plus camera, do you have any YouTube videos of your track days? That would be most helpful.

  • GetBoosted (registered bidder) 1 month, 1 weekago

How many hours on the components (Engine, transaxle, clutch)? How long since the last rebuild/dyno on the shocks? When does all the safety stuff expire (belts, window nets, fire suppression)? What class did this run in?

  • chipbryan88 (registered bidder) 1 month, 1 weekago

    Good luck with auction!

  • HK_Motorcars (seller) 1 month, 1 weekago

Any work done on the IMS bearing?

  • Alpinist (registered bidder) 1 month, 1 weekago

    and is it a 2004 or 2007?

  • RumbleAuto (registered bidder) 1 month, 1 weekago

@pcar this one looks to be incorrectly categorized as a 911 Turbo in the description box. Just thought you might like to fix that. GLWTA!
