@Mpoweroo1 There’s no way to inspect the IMS without taking the car apart. The car has no leaks, seepage, or unusual consumption of oil. The 997 IMS bearing has a much lower failure rate than the 996 bearing. I don’t think anyone would want to start taking apart a mint 15k mile car unless they needed to. Under the old adage “if ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. If you have any more questions please let me know. Thank you!

@FLCarNut Hi there! I understand your point but I think I can explain why it looks that way on the CARFAX as I actually have spoken to the previous owner. Owner 1 had this car from new to 2017! That’s a decent run. Owners 2-4 were believed to be dealers. Many dealers throughout the US are required to take title of the vehicle when it’s in inventory. (This is not the case in CA) hence the reason we do not come up as owner 6 on the CARFAX. Anytime title or registration is updated it’s recorded as an owner on CARFAX whether it’s a private owner or dealer in those states that require them to take title even when in inventory. If you have any more questions, please let me know. Just took the car for a brief drive, as I always do to keep the fluids flowing. She runs like new from factory! -Mike
Seller: This car has had FIVE owners and it only has 15K miles? That strikes me as being a bit odd IMHO.
