This 2007 Porsche 987 Cayman S is finished in Carmon Red Metallic over a Sand Beige interior and equips a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its mid-mounted flat-six engine. It was factory optioned with the Power Seat Package, Preferred Package, and Bose High-End Sound Package. This Cayman S was acquired by the seller about two years ago and is now being offered for auction out of New York showing under 46k miles on the odometer.
This Cayman is distinguishable as an “S” model by its red painted brake calipers and dual center-mounted tailpipes. It comes finished in Carmon Red Metallic and rides on 18” Cayman S wheels dressed in Kumho tires (4321). Other equipment includes a speed-activated rear spoiler, silver-painted side air intakes, and integrated front fog lights. The seller describes the paint to be in very good condition with some normal signs of wear consistent with the vehicle’s age and mileage. The seller adds that the car saw track use on a few occasions for noncompetitive driver education events during their ownership. Inside, this 987 features a Sand Beige interior with the optional Power Seat Package and Preferred Package which adds seat heating, self-dimming mirrors, and a rain sensor. The car is also equipped with the optional Bose High-End Sound Package, a leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, power windows and mirrors, a central locking system, cruise control, and automatic climate control. All gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional including the A/C which was recently repaired in preparation for sale.
A mid-mounted 3.4-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 295 HP and 251 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. A service was completed under prior ownership in 2015 including replacements of the flywheel, intermediate shaft seal, and rear main seal. Under the seller’s ownership, upgraded brake lines were installed along with new brake pads, rotors, and spark plugs.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, an air pump, some documentation, and a clean title.

@cknibbe Good morning. I am unaware of the IMS bearing being changed. To my knowledge the 07 models are not at significant risk for failure.
Has there been any work on the IMS bearing?

@needanothercar Thank you for your questions. Picture 38 is out of sequence. There was spot that was touched up. This is located on the rear drivers quarter panel, not the hood. I will try to up load a picture showing the location. Picture 60 is water drops. We just washed the car before the photo shoot and did not dry the door sills. Picture 84 is the interior of the trunk. I think you mean the paint in 84? If so it was a water bubble. I will try to up load a picture.
The CAYMAN IN The color and mileage I want. Just a few questions. It appears in several photos that your have either paint bubbling or water drops. Photo 38 in middle of hood? was this a bubble which has had touchup paint applied? Photo 60 above the silver door latch? 84? look forward to your reply.

Damn. I just bought a 987.1 Boxster S with the same color combination. I hope this sells for way more than I paid, or I'll be disappointed I didn't wait.
