Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Cocoa Special Leather, this 2007 Porsche 987 Cayman S pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its 3.4-liter flat-six. It was also configured with 19” SportDesign wheels, the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, heated front seats, automatic climate control, seatbelts in Silver, the Bose Surround Sound System, and more. A Borla exhaust system has also been fitted. Showing approximately 52k miles on the odometer, this Cayman S is now being offered for auction by its second owner of 10 years out of New York.
This example can be distinguished as an "S" model from the base Cayman by its red-painted brake calipers and dual center-mounted exhaust outlets. It comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and features the optional Bi-Xenon Headlight Package and 19” SportDesign wheels. The tires are from 2013 and 2016, with the front tires having ample tread and the rear tires showing low tread. Some paint imperfections are noted along with a minor scratch on one of the doors and a small dent. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the driver is welcomed by Cocoa Special Leather upholstery with exclusive Silver seatbelts. Additional options include heated front seats, automatic climate control, the Bose Surround Sound System, and self-dimming mirrors along with a rain sensor. Some creases on the seats are noted along with some wear on the interior touchpoints and trim panels. Also, the hood release button is inoperable.
The first-generation Cayman S is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine featuring 997 Carrera S cylinder heads with VarioCam Plus variable valve timing. It delivers up to 295 HP and 251 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle. Standard features include an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), Porsche Stability Management (PSM), and fixed 4-piston brakes with cross-drilled rotors at each corner. A Borla exhaust system has also been fitted, and the original will accompany the sale. In May 2020, at 50,118 miles, the front and rear brake pads and sensors were replaced, followed by a battery replacement in April 2021 at 50,558 miles. Most recently, in August 2022 at 50,847 miles, the engine oil and filter were changed.
This sale will include a clean title, a battery charger, and the factory exhaust.
The seller would like you to know: “I've owned the car for over 10 years (second owner) and it has always been treated with care; never abused/never tracked/never driven in harsh conditions.”

@b.flippo he said intentional, not international.

Domestic Market = North America
Driver’s Grade = A car in good condition with average to low-average mileage that is not perfect but is mechanically sound. ie.
@b.flippo I don’t even know what this means. Must be a bot.
Hate to break it to the seller, but international buyers aren't buying 50k mile '07 Caymans. The value in this car is as a domestic market driver's grade car. A car you buy to drive.
What a great little first Porsche for some lucky person.

@cingrassia, I wouldn't hold my breath on that!
@gf2020 no changes. Hopefully this platform attracts more intentional bidders.
Any changes since last weeks carsandbids auction?
@cingrassia thanks for the quick response!
@Jmac17110 hey, thanks for your interest. The frunk can be opened with the key. Also, the release button along the sill can be replaced (I actually have the replacement parts).
@seller, how are you opening the trunk with the release broken? Have you investigated repair? Thanks
Great color combo and spec! This will be a pleasure to watch and bid on.
