Up for auction is this 2007 Porsche 987 Cayman S finished in Black over a black interior. Featuring a 6-speed manual transmission, optional 19” Carrera S wheels, heated front seats, and the Bose High-End Sound Package, this 2007 example was sold at an original sticker price of over $63k.  An extensive collection of maintenance records is said to accompany the sale including recent full brake service and clutch replacement by Lindsay Automotive.  It was purchased by the current owner in Texas in 2007 and has since been relocated to Louisiana where it is now being offered for auction with approximately 99k miles showing on the odometer.

This Cayman S is finished in black and is reported to have been garage-kept while receiving regular washes and detailing since the current owner’s purchase in 2007. CARFAX shows minor rear-end damage to have occurred in 2016, which the seller reports to have resulted in the replacement of the rear bumper cover.  Additional images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.  This 2007 example rides on a set of optional 19” Carrera S wheels dressed in Nankang tires.

Inside, this Cayman S sports a black standard leather interior with the Preferred Package (PPA) which includes heated front seats, self-dimming mirrors with an integrated rain sensor, and the Bose High-End Sound Package.  The interior is described to have been kept original and the seller confirms all gauges and accessories to be working properly.

A mid-mounted 3.4L flat-six engine sends 295 HP and 251 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a desirable 6-speed manual transmission, allowing this Cayman S to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 5 seconds.  CARFAX shows routine service to have been carried out by Porsche of Plano up until 2010 at 11,180 miles.  An extensive collection of records from Lindsay Automotive will accompany the sale showing routine service throughout the current ownership as well as the recent replacement of the brakes and clutch. Invoices are provided for reference in the photo gallery.

This sale will include a set of two keys, owner's manuals, service records, and a clean title. Do not miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this well-maintained and nicely presented Porsche Cayman S.

@Spokayman agreed im happy with the price and it'll be a drivers car so mileage will go up a lot more now.

  • Spokayman (registered bidder) 2 years, 8 monthsago

Despite the higher mileage, this seems like an excellent buy considering the run-up in prices lately.

  • kardaddy (seller) 2 years, 8 monthsago

I am selling for the owner who said only
    Bumper Cover painted
Please look at paint meter pictures I think it
    has deck lid

  • bsloss 2 years, 8 monthsago

Why is the “Cayman S” badge not in its proper position? Your description is that the 2016 rear end damage only resulted in a new bumper cover but it looks like someone centered “Cayman” correctly and then added the “S” to the right of it. Was the trunk lid also damaged and repainted? Was there any other damage?

I realize it’s a bit of a chore… But any pics with interior and engine covers off? Any comments on rotor and pad wear? Both fans operating properly? Have been a lot of failures on the fans on the 07.

  • kardaddy (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

I am available to answer any questions.
