Now available for auction is this 2008 BMW E93 M3 Convertible, finished in Alpine White III over a Black Novillo Extended Leather interior. The cabriolet version of the fourth-generation M3, this E93 features an electro-hydraulically operated folding hardtop and a high-revving S65 4.0L V8 engine.  Purchased by the seller in 2020 from a prominent car collector, this low-mileage example comes well equipped with a desirable 6-speed manual transmission and 19” wheels as well as the optional Technology, Premium, and Cold Weather packages. A lifelong West Coast car, this M3 Convertible is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Washington while showing just over 15k miles on the odometer.

The condition of the Alpine White III exterior is depicted in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. Model-specific features of the E93 M3 include revised front and rear bumpers, side skirts, an M-Power quad-tipped exhaust, a distinctive power dome hood, and M-badged front fender vents on either side of the car. This example was ordered with the Light Package as well as optional 19” Style 220M double-spoke wheels which are currently dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3+ tires showing date codes from 2015.

Inside, the cabin features Black Novillo Extended leather upholstery which covers the bolstered sport seats, dashboard, and center console.  A three-spoke leather multifunction M-sport steering wheel sits ahead of a 200-MPH speedometer, an M-specific 9k-RPM tachometer, and gauges for oil, temperature, and fuel level. The optional Cold Weather Package adds heated front seats and retractable headlights washers while the Premium Package equips power-folding and auto-dimming side mirrors, a universal garage door opener, and a digital compass rearview mirror. The optional Technology Package also includes BMW iDrive navigation, Comfort Access keyless entry, and BMW’s M-Drive system which allows the driver to select different throttle response and stability control settings via the “M” button on the steering wheel. Other optional features include Rear Parking Distance Control and the BMW Individual 16-speaker sound system. The three-piece power-folding hardtop can be fully opened or closed in as little as 22 seconds and the seller reports all gauges and accessories to be working properly.

The E93 M3 is powered by a naturally aspirated high compression 4.0L V8 engine which generates up to 414 HP while revving up to 8400 RPM. Paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential sending power to the rear wheels, this convertible can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 5 seconds and up to an electronically governed top speed of 155 MPH. The M3 comes equipped as standard with Electronic Dampening Control which allows the driver to optimize suspension settings based on road conditions. This M3 has recently undergone a full pre-purchase inspection which is available for reference in the photo gallery, and there are no outstanding maintenance items reported at this time.  CARFAX shows the last documented service to have been completed at BMW of Portland in February of 2020 at 13,729 miles.
