Now available for auction is this 2008 BMW E60 M5 finished in Interlagos Blue Metallic over a black Merino leather interior. The 5th generation of BMW's M5 was offered with a 6-speed manual transmission exclusively in North America with a total of 1,364 examples produced in total, of which only 105 are reported to have been finished in Interlagos Blue. Ordered to custom specifications and purchased new by the seller in 2007, this rare 6-speed M5 has always been dealer maintained and is now being offered for auction by its original owner out of New York while showing just over 5k miles on the odometer.
This M5 is finished in the desirable shade of Interlagos Blue Metallic (A30). In comparison with a standard 5-series, the M5 features a wider track, quad-tip exhaust, front fender vents, revised bumpers, and a subtle rear decklid spoiler. Some very small scratches are noted near the driver’s door handle, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This particular M5 was ordered with the Light Package, which equips xenon bulbs inside adaptive headlights along with a headlight cleaning system. This M5 also retains its factory 19” Style 166 wheels which are mounted with original Continental Sport Contact 2 tires.
Inside, the cabin is appointed with black Merino leather and brushed aluminum trim. Factory features include multi-function active sport seats, a sliding glass sunroof, iDrive navigation, Comfort Access keyless entry, a head-up display, park distance control, rear sunshades, and a BMW Professional DSP sound system. The three-spoke multifunction steering wheel sits ahead of a 200-MPH speedometer, a 9k-RPM tachometer with a variable redline, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The seller reports all gauges and accessories to be fully functional at this time.
The E60 M5 is powered by a 5.0L S85 V10 engine factory rated at 500 HP and 384 lb.-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a rare 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The M5 can reach 60 MPH from a standstill in as little as 4.5 seconds with an electronically governed top speed of 155 MPH. This example has been maintained exclusively by the original selling dealer and records are provided on CARFAX showing routine annual service.
This sale will include a clean title. As 6-speed BMWs grow increasingly sought after, this rare E60 M5 has become a true collector's item.

My 09' (Monaco Blue) developed a number of issues I attributed to the car sitting for a few months during the winter (a leak at the rear diff input seal being one).

Was the car ever driven in salt or snow? I ask this because I am concerned about oxidation on the undercarriage. In lieu of undercarriage pictures.
Please describe any cosmetic blemishes..chips in the glass, in the paint, dings, scuffs, interior stains, scuffs, scratches, etc.
Do you have all the paper copies of all service work done on the car and will they come with the vehicle?
@tampagarage Salt or snow? It's never even been driven in the rain!! There are no fluid leaks - it was carefully serviced by the dealer last summer and I looked under the car at that time. I've taken the car out several times in the last few weeks and driven around the property as it has no plates. The car is pristine - inside and out - other than pin point marks on lower panel of the driver door. Not sure if we have every piece of the original paperwork (CarFax has is all) but everything we have will come with the car.

Any fluid leaks? Believe it or not, my car had t have the differential seals replaced, the dealer said the leak was caused by the car sitting.

@95BlackZ28 We will download a copy of the car's original sticker shortly. Again, all appointments are original, and as ordered. And we will again stress that there are no scratches - small or otherwise - on the driver side door ; it is a reflection captured by the photo.
@baker1100rs is the dashboard covered in leather? If not, then it doesn’t have the “extended leather” option.
according to the window sticker the interior is described as black merino leather with power BMW front sports seats with lumbar support and memory system
@95BlackZ28 It is full leather. The car is original and untouched - just as it came from the factory.
@rudenko5206 Doesn’t look like full leather- appears to be rubber dash and rubber upper door panels

the car does not have a heads up display and I do have the ordinal window sticker...the options ordered include comfort access system , multi functional seats, heated rear seat and hd radio The car is lovely very fat and a joy to drive
