It is our pleasure to present this stunning 2008 Ferrari 430 Scuderia finished in Blu Pozzi with factory-applied gold accents.  Unveiled by Michael Schumacher at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show, the Scuderia is a visceral track-focused variant of the F430 which offers aggressive aerodynamics and a substantial increase in performance.  This impeccable 2008 example showcases a bespoke Ferrari Atelier blue and Cuoio Alcantara interior as well as carbon fiber racing seats and 19” forged wheels in gold.  Having spent the majority of its life under the care of the same owner in Ohio, this 430 Scuderia is now being offered for auction in pristine collector-grade condition by its seller in Massachusetts with just over 6k miles showing on the odometer.

The Pininfarina-designed bodywork is finished in the rare nonmetallic shade of Blu Pozzi, and the paint is noted to be in exemplary condition with clear protective film applied over the entire front end.  Detailed images and paint meter readings are provided in the photo gallery.  Visual differences between the Scuderia and standard F430 include a more aggressive front fascia, carbon fiber mirrors and trim pieces, a larger rear diffuser, and a lightweight Lexan rear window.  This particular example also features gold NART racing stripes, yellow brake calipers, and gold 19” wheels dressed in healthy Pirelli P Zero tires.

Inside, the cabin received personalized treatment from Ferrari Atelier with blue and Cuoio Alcantara upholstery accented by special stitching.  The interior of the Scuderia is devoid of sound-deadening insulation and excess material to maximize weight savings.  Other unique factory options on this example include carbon fiber racing seats with driver’s seat adjustment, a carbon fiber steering wheel with LED’s, a handy fire extinguisher, a leather-trimmed boot compartment, and a radio system with navigation, Bluetooth, and iPod connectivity.  The interior is reported to be like-new with all gauges and accessories remaining fully functional.  An extra set of interior buttons will be included in the sale.

The Scuderia is equipped with the same naturally aspirated 4.3 L flat-plane crankshaft V8 found in the standard F430, but with special adjustments from the factory to achieve a total output of 503 HP.  The rear wheels are driven by way of a specially tuned 6-speed F1 automated-manual gearbox with paddle shifters, that allows for a blistering 0-60 time of approximately 3 seconds.  Performance features unique to the Scuderia include larger carbon-ceramic brakes, stiffer titanium springs, and an electronically controlled E-Diff2 wet-clutch limited-slip differential which can be adjusted through the F1-Trac traction/stability control system. This example is reported to have undergone all routine maintenance at a Ferrari dealership and a recent thorough inspection is said to have found the car to be in superb mechanical order.

This sale will include 1 master key, owner’s books, extra interior buttons, a flat tire and first aid kit, a Ferrari car cover, a fire extinguisher, and a clean title.  A truly impressive and unique configuration, this low mileage 430 Scuderia would make the perfect addition to any world-class car collection.

Less than 1 day left. Car is ready to go! Thank you all for your bids thus far, we look forward to seeing the flurry at the end!

@rocketman @rocketman - there are no cracks, but as you can see there is some fogging in the passenger side headlight. The CF in the engine bay is not yellowing. The clutch has not been measured, however, the car is an impeccably maintained example, and with only 6k miles, we wouldnt believe the clutch is low on life left.

  • rocketman (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago

    Great spec.

Any issues with "spider" cracks and hazing of the front headlight assemblies ?
Any issues with discoloration/yellowing of the carbon fiber in the engine compartment ?
Has the clutch been measured and, if so, what is the % remaining clutch life ?
    Thanks
