Up for auction is this 2008 Porsche 997 Carrera 4S Cabriolet finished in Black over a black full leather interior. Originally sold from Beverly Hills Porsche with its entire life spent on the West Coast, this 997 comes factory equipped with a Tiptronic S automatic gearbox, 19” Carrera Classic wheels, the Sport Chrono Package Plus, stainless steel exhaust pipes, and other premium features.  With a full engine rebuild carried out within the last 2,500 miles at a cost of over $18k, this 4S is now being listed for auction by its seller in California with approximately 80k miles showing on the odometer. As previously sold on PCARMARKET, this 997 is being offered once more as the inital transaction could not be completed.

This 997 is finished in Black and the seller describes the paint to be in good condition with some cosmetic imperfections as shown in the photo gallery.  CARFAX indicates minor rear-end damage in 2019 which is said to have resulted in the bumper being refinished.  The black cabriolet top is said to be working properly and exterior features include exclusive stainless steel exhaust pipes and 19” Carrera Classic wheels. The rear tires are said to have been recently replaced.

The black full leather interior remains in good shape while exhibiting a few small blemishes as depicted in the photo gallery.  All gauges and accessories are said to be working properly and the original $116,145 window sticker includes the following options:

Power comes from a naturally aspirated 3.8 L flat-six engine.  A 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission distributes 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque among all four wheels allowing this 4S to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 5 seconds.  The optional Sport Chrono Package enables the driver to adjust performance characteristics as well as record lap times through the integrated stopwatch.  In February of 2021 within the last 2,500 miles, this 997 underwent a full engine rebuild by Sublime Silverlake at a cost of over $18k.  A corresponding invoice is provided in the photo gallery and all other maintenance history is shown on CARFAX.  The battery and catalytic converters are also said to have been recently replaced and this 4S will be accompanied by a California smog certificate.
