This 2008 Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet comes finished in GT Silver Metallic with a Black soft top over a matching Black full leather interior. It features a Tiptronic S automatic transmission paired with its legendary 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged Mezger engine, along with the Sport Chrono Package for enhanced performance. Upgraded with a GIAC engine tune and a GMG exhaust system, this example is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Oregon while showing approximately 60k miles on the odometer.
This 997 comes finished in GT Silver Metallic contrasted with a Black convertible soft top. Distinctive styling cues of the 997 Turbo include a widened body shell with integrated side air intakes and a speed-activated rear wing. It rides on 19” Turbo wheels dressed in older Bridgestone Potenza tires. Paint protection film covers the front bumper, hood, front fenders, rear flares, and mirrors. The seller notes two small areas of paint touch-up, minor nicks in the protective film, and some scrapes on the front spoiler. The first-generation 997 Turbo's venerable 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six generates as much as 480 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels. This example was optioned with the Tiptronic S automatic transmission and Sport Chrono Package Turbo, and the seller adds that an aftermarket GMG exhaust and GIAC tune have been equipped for increased performance abilities. The brake pads and rotors are said to have been replaced in August 2019, and an AGM battery was recently installed. The CARFAX report shows a total of 18 service history entries dating back to 2008.

I owned this car previous to this owner. We never raced it, got it to 115mph was the fastest I ever went in it. I got rid of it because we upgraded to a 2017 Targa 911 in Miami Blue. My husband said here is your car from a few years ago back for sale! We only put about 1000 miles on it when we owned it.

@toothdoc , I am not aware of any track/racing history. The tune and aftermarket exhaust were added by a previous owner but I don't know if this was for the purpose of racing or purely for the boost in hp.

@nyufsu, Thanks for the first bid! Love, love this turbo but don't put a lot of miles on her and I now have two teenage boys on my policy! I purchased at just under 56k miles nearly five years ago. Anyway, 1. I don't have any additional maintenance records. I did not receive any records from the Portland dealer that I purchased the car from. The last oil change was done at Stuttgart Autotech in Lake Oswego, OR 7/24/19. I have the window sticker only..."Next Service Due on/at 61,986 miles". 2. I don't have any history on the coolant pipes. 3. The tires are older and probably should be replaced in the near future. 1212 is the date code. 4. Absolutely, everything is working perfectly!!! Hi @Whiskey. Beautiful car and very nicely presented. I've previously owned and sold a 997 turbo and am looking for another one. I'm happy to kick off bidding. As the auction progresses, I have a few questions:
1. Do you have any other maintenance records besides the one for the brake work? The last oil change identified in the CarFax is from 2014 (nearly 9 years ago). Anything more recent?
2. Have the coolant pipes been pinned? That is a known failure point on these cars.
3. What's the date code on the tires?
4. Is everything working as it should?

@ericthepilot, The Pioneer receiver model installed is AVH-2300NEX however Apple CarPlay or Android Auto seem to be available in a later version.
Does the car have Apple Carplay or Android Auto with this radio setup ?
