Up for auction is a highly optioned 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo. The 997 model is becoming the car of choice by many enthusiasts due to its sporty nature and visceral feel. This example features a desirable color combination, 6-speed manual transmission, low mileage, and exclusive options, making it stand out among the rest. The car was sold new at Porsche Atlanta Perimeter before eventually making its way to Pennsylvania where it currently resides with the seller.
The desirable Basalt Black Metallic paint is stated to be in excellent condition showing minimal wear. This Turbo features special ordered full-red taillights that complement the car wonderfully. Originally developed for the 911 GT1 Le Mans car, the Mezger engine is regarded by many Porsche experts as the holy grail of water-cooled engines. Featuring a true dry sump and crank driven oil pumps, this engine resists oil surge in even the most aggressive cornering. Furthermore, this GT1 derived engine doesn’t suffer from IMS bearing related issues as its oil system ensures constant lubrication.

@Gq34 I beg to differ. The fact that the interior is not black is rare. Also, this one has contrasting black carpets--super rare for that period--and matching painted seat backs so there is plenty of upside to this interior combination. I think it's a huge draw. I assume most would agree with me.

@MezgerTT There was clear bra on the entire front of the car when it arrived. We had it removed because it was starting to fade. At this time there is no film but the paint was protected otherwise. There are no chips, scratches, or dents on the vehicle. It is in virtually showroom new condition.
