Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Carrera Red Natural Leather interior, this 2008 Porsche 997 Carrera 4S Coupe is equipped with a 3.8-liter flat-six engine sending power to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. It was configured at an original sticker price of over $111k including the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, Carbon Package, PCM Package in Leather, Bose High-End Sound Package, Adaptive Sport Seats with Porsche-crested headrests, a Sport Shifter, 19” Carrera Sport wheels and more. This 997 was originally registered in New York and was imported to Canada in 2010. It was acquired by the current owner over 3 years ago and is now being offered for auction out of Nova Scotia with approximately 24k miles showing on the odometer.
Compared to a base 997 Carrera model, the 4S features wider fenders, quad exhaust outlets, and red-painted brake calipers. This 2008 Coupe is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and features optional painted rocker panels as well as 19” Carrera Sport wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The car has also been customized with carbon fiber mirror covers and clear European-spec side marker lights. The seller notes the original mirror covers and marker lenses are included with the sale. The car’s exterior is described to be in excellent overall condition apart from a few small stone chips on the hood and some tarnish on the removable clear paint protection film. Inside, this Carrera 4S features a premium Carrera Red Natural Leather interior with a black Alcantara headliner, optional Carbon Package trim, a carbon fiber multifunction steering wheel, and heated 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats with Porsche-crested headrests. Other options include the PCM Package in Leather, Bose High-End Sound Package, Navigation and Telephone Modules for PCM, and Sport Chrono Package Plus which adds a dashboard-mounted stopwatch. A protective red carpet mat has been installed on the dashboard and the seller reports the cabin to be in excellent condition with all gauges and accessories remaining fully functional.
A naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes place in approximately 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 179 MPH. Some service history is provided on the CARFAX report and the seller states the car has been maintained with annual oil changes. The tire pressure monitoring sensors have been replaced as well.
This sale will include the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, service records, and a clean title.

If you walk over and drive it across it is much easier and will save a few dollars for sure.
I have all the paperwork and where it was a U.S. car again the process is much quicker. I’m not sure you have to pay duties because again it is coming back to where it originated.
Fees are low and I’m thinking less than $500.
You can call the border and tell them your thinking of bringing in a U.S. car that was imported into Canada years back and they can tell you almost exactly how much. Google US border at Calais Maine for phone no.

The car started it’s life in Southampton NY and was brought to Canada so according to the broker at the border it makes it a hole lot easier to come back.
You hire a broker at whatever border you plan on having it shipped through. Deringers are a broker and they are in Calais ME and this is a border that a carrier I use will cross to the U.S.
