We are pleased to offer this 2008 Porsche 997 Turbo presented in Basalt Black Metallic over a black full leather interior. Boasting a legendary 3.6 L twin-turbocharged Mezger engine paired with a desirable 6-speed manual transmission, this first-generation 997 Turbo has been factory optioned with extended leather upholstery, Adaptive Sport Seats, the Parking Assist System, Sport Chrono Package, and exclusive aluminum-look interior trim. This particular example has also been upgraded with an FVD exhaust system and corresponding ECU tune for increased power. Accompanied by a comprehensive collection of service records showing proper routine maintenance, this 997 Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller in South Carolina while showing just over 22k miles on the odometer.
This 997 is finished in Basalt Black Metallic and the paint is said to be in exceptional condition having always been garage-kept. A full ceramic coating has been applied and clear Xpel paint protection film has also been installed over the entire front bumper, partial hood and front fenders, mirror covers, and in front of the rear wheels. A very slight scratch is indicated on the right side of the rear bumper (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). The aggressive wide body styling of this Turbo is complimented by aftermarket 20” Champion wheels that were dressed in new Michelin Pilot Sport tires at 19k miles.

This Turbo is equipped with a highly desirable 3.6 L twin-turbocharged flat-six Mezger engine mated to an equally sought-after 6-speed manual gearbox. In its stock configuration, the first-generation 997 Turbo is capable of putting out 480 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels, allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 3.7 seconds and a top speed of over 190 MPH. This example is factory optioned with the Sport Chrono Package and has been further upgraded with an FVD exhaust and corresponding ECU tune for enhanced power output and sound. A handheld tuner and cable are also included to revert the ECU back to its factory settings. A new battery and starter motor were installed in 2020, and this Turbo is said to have undergone all scheduled service with supporting records included in the sale. I replied with more detail but posted the site in this communication of the place where service is performed. I'm not sure if posting the web address runs afoul of the communication suggestions but if its ok this link will enable you to assess my chosen service provider.
@sinciardi Sure thanks for the question. In the photo of the service records you will see many that are from GTM and sons. That is where my primary service for my 599, 67 Shelby and my 911 occurred during those years. All of the GTM's viewable are for that time period. They did the annual servicing. In 2020 they replaced the starter. These guys are major professionals. People from all over the country truck their cars to them. You should look them up not sure if I am allowed to post their info. Additionally I would give them permission to share any records or their verbal knowledge and opinions my cars. Hope this answered your question. @cibenglish Nice-looking turbo. Based on the CarFax, it appears that there was a period of time from 2015 to early 2020 where the car had no services noted. Can you outline what service was performed in this time frame and do you have records for those services with the car? Thank you.
@SBerastequi Steven. Yes the rear spoiler functions correctly. And the cover comes with the car. Im not planning to keep any items everything goes with including The Charger, the programing tool(https://www.fvd.net/us-en/FVD99761840MG/software-upgrade-9971-turbo-genius-flash-tool.html). Had less than 2900 miles when I took possession and under my care since. My cars are loved. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
