Offered for auction is this 2008 Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet finished in Meteor Grey Metallic over a Carrera Red Natural Leather interior. The striking color combination on this 911 is complemented by the optional Carbon Package, a carbon multifunction steering wheel, extended leather trim, a painted center console, and Adaptive Sport Seats with painted backings. The 3.6L twin-turbocharged Mezger engine is paired with an optional Tiptronic S transmission and the Sport Chrono Package for maximum performance. Recently treated to a full annual service, this Turbo Cabriolet shows just over 19k miles on the odometer and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Louisiana.
This 997 comes finished in Meteor Grey Metallic, a classic Porsche color that appeared across the model range during the early 1980s. The Turbo is characterized by its wide fenders, side air intakes, and speed-activated wing mounted atop the rear spoiler. This example comes equipped with a black cabriolet top and factory 19” 911 Turbo wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2020. The full front end has been preserved under clear paint protection film and the clear stone guards ahead of the rear wheels have been replaced due to age. The original front license plate bracket has also been removed with painted plugs installed to conceal the mounting holes, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The premium Carrera Red Natural Leather upholstery extends to the sun visors and steering column, accented by deviated seat centers, door panels, a painted center console, and painted seatbacks. Other exclusive details include a footrest in aluminum and Porsche crest embossed headrests. Among the last of the Turbos to feature the coveted Mezger engine, this 997 carries a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six distributing as much as 480 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels. Equipped with the optional Tiptronic S automatic transmission and Sport Chrono Package Turbo, acceleration from 0-60 MPH is reached in as little as 3.3 seconds. A full annual service was completed in January of 2022 including the installation of a new windshield washer pump and replacement of both front acceleration sensors.
This sale will include recent service invoices, a set of two keys, owner's manuals, and a clean title.

@cwoodman67 everything is fully functional electronically and mechanically, yes. Door panels, tops, and all aspects of the seats are in like new condition. The seats and inserts are 100% original.
Are there any issues with the seat centers or door panels? Heated Seats work? The black inserts aren't factory as there is no code on the build sheet for interior customization.

@Dcowles as the car's currently in the middle of my showroom and the auction ends in just 4 hours I don't think I'll be able to get the car on the lift and get undercarriage photos in that time frame. The car has all original paint, yes... but again, am not certain that I'll be able to get those readings done and posted in a timely manner.

For what most Turbo Cab owners do w/these cars the TIP is far more than adequate . You’ll pay less for TIP than a PDK …and your level of enjoyment will not be reduced proportionately. Striking combo - GLWA
@zollerm - yeah, DME is about the engine revs, but I hear ya. The PDK is way more dynamic and quick, but I've owned a TIP, with the turbo motor they do fine.
The Tiptronic automatics in these cars is a Mercedes built unit. They are bullet proof and have been tested up to 1000 HP.
