Produced in a limited series of 500 examples worldwide, the Boxster S Porsche Design Edition 2 was debuted wearing Carrara White paint with grey stripes along with matching 19” wheels, a special leather interior, and an upgraded sports exhaust system for an output of over 300 HP. This particular example is one of just 18 delivered new in Canada and was acquired by the current owner from a friend 8 years ago. Well maintained including replacement of the clutch assembly and ignition coils, this rare Boxster S shows approximately 52k kilometers (32k miles) on the odometer and is now being offered for auction by its owner out of Winnipeg.
The Design Edition 2 comes finished exclusively in Carrara White with matching 19” SportDesign wheels, side air intakes, a Stone Grey convertible top, red taillights, and light grey Porsche Design graphics along the top and sides. Other features include Bi-Xenon headlamps, red-painted brake calipers, and Carrara White center caps with colored Porsche crests. Original tires are equipped, and the owner reports the car has been garage-kept and always stored away during winters. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, this special edition features black full leather upholstery accented by a Carrara White painted center console with matching dashboard trim, instrument dials, and stainless-steel door sills with Porsche Design Edition 2 logos. The steering wheel, shift knob, and brake handle are trimmed in Alcantara and a limitation plaque on the glovebox designates this car as #186/500. Other equipment includes a Sport Shifter, heated leather Sport Seats, self-dimming mirrors with an integrated rain sensor, automatic climate control, and Sport Chrono Package without PCM.
Shared with the 987 Cayman S Sport, the Boxster S Design Edition 2 features a 3.4-liter flat-six engine producing as much as 303 HP thanks to a free-flowing sports exhaust system. Power is sent to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The clutch assembly was replaced in 2017 followed by the replacement of all six ignition coils in 2018 and a new clutch cable in 2020. There are no outstanding service items reported at this time.

@CP_VT Hi there, yes it is a beautiful car and it is killing me to sell it! we would need to change out the spedo which I can take care of and you would be looking at roughly 2.8% of the value of the car for duty and import taxes from what I understand. I can set you up with a company called Border Brokers which specializes in this and will make it easy for you.
Does seller or anyone else know what one could expect to pay in import duties/taxes to bring it to the US? Thank you. Gorgeous car!

@Adoptagreatpet the passenger seat is perfect , the drivers seat has a bit of wear just on the side but is still in excellent condition. I will try and get a pic up today.

@spitch Hi @spitch , I will download the pic. Also as per my previous comment we did look into this with a broker and you will need to install a new cluster bank in Miles not Kilometers. I can take care of that myself if one of my American friends buys this. besides that it has to sit in quarantine at customs which is a US rule is a standard procedure. That is about it. I have a broker I can set up with the purchaser to make it easy.

@BugKiller Hi @BugKiller, the knob is a magnet for holding your phone. it has another round piece that sticks to your phone. It is easily removed from the car as it is only stuck on with tape. I will make sure that I leave the other piece for your phone with the car if anyone wants to use it. I hope that answers your question.
